Also was a heavy rumor when LV traded both Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper in the same offseason, because Mark Davis literally couldn’t afford the massive lump sum signing bonuses they were about to demand

Howie will be looking for those kinds of trading opportunities

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Working on the old Super Bowl GDT, I got to the part of the game where the Dodge Ram "Vikings" commercial had aired... I'd kind of forgotten about that commercial. Dodge trolled the F out of the Vikings and their fans... even 5 years later, I love it! lol

Spoiler

Of course, you may know that the second half of "We Will Rock You" is "We are the Champions", total troll by Dodge lol

2020 draftees by LV = WR Henry Riggs, CB Damon Arnette, RB Lynn Bowden, WR Bryan Edwards

Both Ruggs and Arnette were cut.

Graham has repeatedly said he wants to play 15 seasons in the NFL. I'm not a fan of keeping older players too long but it's hard to make that argument with how well he's played this year. He's also the type of player it's hard to imagine playing somewhere else. I think it's almost a lock he's going to be back next year, if not get a 2 year deal to get to 15 seasons.

Used to think the same about Dawk...

I think it was Andrew Brandt (or Banner( who said that in relative terms, the cap means nothing in the NFL, but cash does.  Mark Davis issue is the spare cash flow in Vegas is tight, hence that is part of the reason they told Carr to go home.  Building the Death Star really affected their already tight cash position.

Everyone is playing except for Maddox. Pretty simple.

I'm guessing Avonte doesn't play.  Sweat listed as rest is good news.

The DL should be rested and healthy. Only player I'm worried taking plays off is Fletcher Cox.

I'm pretty sure Bowden was traded before his rookie season and Edwards is no longer on a team.

Cox is a competitor in the playoffs.  He's played much better next to Joseph and Suh.

I can't believe the Cowboys are sticking with a guy that's missed 5 XP's in a row. It's going to be hilarious when it costs them a game.

Problem solved, Jerrah style...

Wasn’t there a time when Dan Snyder wanted to be the Redskins kicker?

Time for a blog definition on mid round pick?

There are 256 draft picks in the NFL draft.

Half of 256 is 128.    262 is 131.

1 standard deviation is said to contain 68% of the data points.  34% would be on one side of 128 131, and 34% on the other.

34% of 256 262 is 87 89.  So, mathematically, the middle of the draft would be from pick 41 to 215  42 to 220.  Early picks would be 1 to 40 41, and late picks would be 216 to 256 221 to 262.

We could go into degree of 'early picks' as well with 2 standard deviations.

Picks 1 - 6 1 - 7 (Rounded up from 6.55):  Extremely early round draft picks (greater than 2 standard deviations from the mean, but less than the mean)
Picks 7 - 40 8 - 41: Early picks, (greater than 1, but less than 2 standard deviations from the mean, but less than the mean)
Picks 41 - 128 42 - 131:  Early Middle round picks (these are within 1 standard deviation of the mean, and are smaller than the mean)
Picks 129 - 215 132 - 220: Late Middle round picks (these are within 1 standard deviation of the mean, but are greater than the mean)
Picks 216 - 250 221 - 254: Late round picks (greater than 1, but less than 2 standard deviations from the mean, but greater than the mean)
Picks 251-256 255 - 262: Extremely late round picks (greater than 2 standard deviations from the mean, but greater than the mean)

You are welcome.  🤓

UPDATED TO 262 picks.

Would need a recalculation using 262 ..... Brock Purdy was pick #262 in the most recent NFL draft
