It’s funny you mention that because I was talking to my dad that if the giant somehow made it to the Super Bowl, it is the equivalent of what the 2022 Phillies did. Because they had talent but they were lacking in some areas and really no one expected it. They got in which took a ton of pressure off but then just got hot at the exact right time and rode that all the way to the World Series. I don’t think the giants have as much talent as that Phillies team did but it would be a similar run.

I think if we are comparing them to a football team if they somehow made it to the Super Bowl, I’d actually say the 2011 giants. I think that giants team had more talented. If they lose in the divisional round to us, I’d probably say they are closer to 2000 eagles (although more talented and i think better overall) that ran into the giants who just had their number and weren’t ready to overtake them yet.

Yup. He was dumb enough to think it up in the first place, but at any point, he could have thunk twice and said, that’s going too far, I’m not going there. And none of us would have been the wiser. 
 

Then he doubles down and publicly posts what his intent was.

 

And if that wasn’t bad enough, he triples down and admits his plan was to get Mike banned. Let’s assume Mike actually followed up and did it, everyone is put on notice already that it wasn’t done out of malicious intent. At best, a mod tells Mike to take it down and Bacarty is suspended/banned for coming up with the idea, or he gets warned. I don’t see his plan working out regardless.

I knew last year the 49ers would handle Dallas pretty easily by the way they handled the Packers in the playoffs -- push them around and play a physical style they can't match.  I tend to feel the same way about this weekend's game until I'm shown to be wrong.  The 49ers defense will make things much tougher for Dak than the Bucs did.  For all the talk about how inept the Bucs' offense was (and they were for much of the season), their defense was also pathetic -- 5 Dallas TDs without forcing a FG attempt from a guy who couldn't even kick extra points straight.  Really awful.

That game will come down to which DL can dominate the LOS.  Dallas has a very good pass rush, but I think the Niners are going to run at will at them, and through them.
