Never went to the draft in NYC, but back in the early ‘70s, as an Oiler fan, we would got to the Adams Petroleum Building (Bud Adams owned the Oilers).  They used their cafeteria as the public area to announce the picks. The media would hang out there.  Mostly just the Chronicle and Post (newspapers) football reporters.  Players went pop through. The starting MIKE, Greg Bingham, was a neighbor and when he came through, he usually was with a group of defensive players.  He’d see my buddy and me and come over to chat with other players in tow.  The draft wasn’t as big a deal back then and much longer than now. (12 rounds IIRC).  Different times.

The quality of discussion has been consistently better.  It has focused on the Eagles rather than on the posters.  I suspect your problem with it is that no one is paying any attention to you, and you feel neglected.  Try posting something insightful and I suspect you will get some good responses.  I’m even going to take you off Ignore so if you actually do post something worthwhile I’ll see it and more than likely respond.

His statements were harmless and clearly in jest.  

Eagles-Giants will come down to which team runs the football the best.  Giants were 4-0 when Barkley runs for 100+, so I think he'll get a lot of touches.  Jones will also be taking off running -- he had 120 carries this season.  Eagles need to keep Jones in the pocket and get constant DL pressure.  They sacked him 7 times in the 48-22 win.

I expect Hurts will be much more a factor with his legs than he was in the Week 18 game against the Giants.  He ran to escape pressure and was likely told to get down or out of bounds as quickly as possible to avoid aggravating his injury before playoffs.  Now that it's playoff time, there's nothing to save yourself for.  He will be back to running as he did through most of the year; just needs to avoid taking clean shots.

Red Zone offense will be huge, too.  Eagles need to score TDs instead of FGs -- they were over 70% red zone TD efficiency before Hurts' injury, so they need to convert.  I expect more Sanders/Scott/Gainwell carries inside the 5 than seeing Hurts plowing forward -- but we shall see.

Yea swastikas are totally cool to joke about using. It’s totally cool to deliberately go to the mods and complain about posters not using the swastika in the bet. And continue to double down about it. Clearly in jest. Again, I suggest you just STFU on things you don’t know about. 

Love the dude who is not Jewish and has no understanding of it telling a Jewish person how they should feel about something like the attempted use of a swastika. Or that I’m deliberately wanting to talk about my family’s unfortunate times in concentration camps. You are right I specifically come to an Eagles blog to talk about my family’s concentration camps stories. Yes you did. Originally bacarty stated he didn’t believe Lamar wrote the tweet. When pressed he said Lamar is too stupid and only speaks in Ebonics

Once again, as it was already pointed last time, he wasn't banned for simply saying the word ebonics in a sentence. The context of his comment had some racial undertones, which came on the heels of his swastika stunt.

And who knows how many warning points he racked up before that point. If anything, the mods have been super lenient on these new boards, way more than when it was still officially affiliated with the team, so if they're banning or suspending people, it's probably because they deserved it in most cases.
