Ok, I am going to make an attempt at bridging the gap and still explain the issue where it can be understood.

Mike, we get that you don't find the swastika itself funny, just that he was moronically using it in an attempt to get posters he didn't like banned. The problem after is the whole "virtue signaling" schtick. There are plenty of people with a negative feeling about that symbol and it's personal to them and their family, compound that with it being an active symbol of hate and the desire to eradicate entire peoples and it's not virtue signaling to have a zero tolerance policy to that, both on the boards side and as people. If it was a dead symbol, or if everyone agreed that it was horrible and the joke was in that everyone agrees, then it would be dark humor, but that is not where we are in society. I enjoy dark humor as much as the next guy, but among people I know actively aren't/don't believe those things, which you can't on a message board. What you found funny was barcarty's sheer idiocy and you need to stop there and stop adding the swastika part to it because it's not a winning topic, bro. Until it's use is eradicated by those groups, people are going to hate the symbol and you finding it funny, people are going to ascribe to casual racism, which in part it is.
