I remember when thy first had the jumbotron board at the Vet and we thought it was awesome.  That screen was like one small corner of that new one.

Coach Prime!  I do wonder if he's the real deal or if he's just over hyped.  If (when?) he does well at Colorado how long until he moves on to a big school or even the NFL?

The most influential owners run the better organizations, not coincidentally.  The better organizations would be the ones negatively impacted, so it'd be a no-go, without ever getting to a vote.

I hope they don't do the same thing they did at the Linc when they put their new scoreboards in.  Essentially all they did with the new useable digital space was make ads digital rather than physical.  If all they do is make those 4 ad signs digital, it's a waste.

What’s the lifespan on these "modern” stadiums? The Vet lasted 32 years, and the Linc is now at 20…I’d have to think the newer stadiums would hold up longer than 30 years, but is there any comparable situations?

Yeah, I can't imagine any owner thinking it's a good thing for them.  It also might as well be a stick in the eye to fans.

Lifespan goes from construction complete to sewage leaking on fans. Then you get a new one.

I wouldnt be surprised if the phillies is just ad space. You see the only thing theyve done is take away those ad signs, and make that screen space. So maybe that screen space will be used to make those ads digital. Usable screen probably will remain the same.
