I don't mean to signal out you specifically with the bolded comment. But Eagles fans in general. I hear now about how much talent the Eagles have, but I sure don't recall any sentiment like that prior to the year. I don't remember fans arguing that we had a loaded roster. On the other hand, I do recall people complaining about our general manager and what a crappy job he's been doing at acquiring talent. Maybe, just maybe, Howie Roseman has actually been doing a good job all along.

There was criticism heading into the offseason and draft.  The team had big holes on either side of the ball but probably moreso on the defensive side of it going into the offseason.  Reagor was a bust pick and they needed a talent upgrade at WR.  No one knew whether Hurts was an answer at QB.  The team had real problems in the secondary and at LB.  There was a lack of  pass runs and the team had a very disappointing sack total in 2021.  Not only that but no one had faith in Howie's ability to use 3 first round picks.   I think the criticism abated some during free agency.  People liked the Reddick signing but it was an expected move.  The Kyzir White signing seemed like a potential upgrade but no sure thing.  The worry was still that he would screw up the draft.  He didn't not because he trusted his scouts but because he knew the marketplace and made 3 excellent trades.  The big move was the trade for AJ Brown. It was accompanied by the trade with NO that netted their 2023 1st round pick.  So people worried about Hurts realized that Howie did a great job hedging his bets with Hurts.  People liked that took Dean as well. That was followed up by signing Bradberry.  So I think heading into camp people thought Howie had done a very good job with the roster.  The other big move was the trade for CJGJ.  After that trade, Howie's harshest critics were on board with him.  So my take is the negativism about him was gone in May.

Are you trolling? I said at the end of the post I don't expect them to coach tight. I also have said before I think the Eagles will win the game.

My point stands though. When you're the more talented team and clearly favorites, the pressure is going to be on for them to come out and play well vs an opponent they should beat. And as I said, I expect them to do so.

Fair enough. We're gonna throw the playbook at these guys to ensure the W.

I expect the Eagles to Win, as well.

Yup, the Giants will want to play within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Cousins had 33 percent of his throws go over 10 yards, and probably did enough to win if his defense had helped him out. But they never really made Jones uncomfortable. Most of the time he had easy decisions to make - pass to his first read or tuck and run.

As you said, on D we must load the box to stymie Jones and stop Saquon, preferably with Blankie in the box.  Force Jones into 1v1s under pressure.

Blankie will put Saquon to sleep.

I am hoping for some safety blitzes to drop Jones for some losses.

In retrospect, any box big enough to hold a blankie is a box that I don't think I want to see.

I can see where some coaches will think he's Josh Allen and be suspect of Stroud's production at OSU.  To me, Stroud looks like the best of the 3.

From what I've watched I'd place them Stroud, Young, Hooker, Levis

Question is should a team get a pair of 3rd round picks when it happens…

If Dallas does end up coming to Philly of the NFCCG, it will be their 5th consecutive road game.

There's some noise in those stats. Just takes one bomb down the sideline and that goes away.

He played 100% of the snaps last game and fully practiced all week. I don't think it's has anything to do with him.

It is interesting though. Maybe they want to limit Blakenship snaps?
