I think it was over with the pick 6. The whole stadium going nuts and that return just being demoralizing. They didn’t stand a chance after that.

    Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Here’s a few of my happy memories from that wonderful day.

I’m a pessimistic fan during the game. It wasn’t until 38-7 that I felt like it was over. The time between Smith’s flea flicker to Alshon’s second TD seemed to take forever. Then it was party time.

I'm usually a nervous wreck, but I felt good at halftime. Especially seeing how Doug Pederson played the final drive of the first half the complete opposite of how Doug Marrone played his last possession in NE.

Worried about Jalen’s shoulder but not enough to think the Eagles will lose. Maybe somewhere in between the first meeting and second meeting. 27-17 Eagles

@LeanMeanGM

33-0

Daniel Jones 3+ turnovers

If this doesn't get you ready, don't know what will

Sweet Baby Jesus, why the F is he telling this into a camera instead of to the 53 players inside that locker room tonight? I'm already way too F'ing amped up and I can't play the game on the field, but they can!

Let's see if Hurts can ride his early season success or if he turns back into a pumpkin.

What a damn day that was.

Man, I hope I’m wrong some day (maybe even this year), but I just don’t know how a team ever tops what they did…..and how they did it.

Not gonna happen, can't imagine the owners would sign off that.

I'm always have concern for any game, but I think I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. We're just the better team. Not just a little better but significantly better. (I do stats every year, and statistically this is the best team we've ever had.) If we don't lose the turnover battle, I'm pretty confident we win. But if we lay it on the ground a few times or throw the ball to the other team, then we could have issues.

What I really want to see is for us to get up early and kinda force the Giants to have to play catch up. What I don't want to see is for the Giants to slow the game down with time consuming drives that reduce the number of possessions each team gets. That's kind what the Commanders did in their win. If I were the Giants, I would try to mimic that game. Run the ball a lot on second down, even after minimal gains on first down, in order to get them into third and medium-or-short. In my memory, I think we've shown some vulnerability in stopping those. String a few conversions like that and not only are you gaining yardage, but you're taking time off the clock. I don't want that. Just get up early and blow the doors off them.

I don’t know about everyone else but I was up early this morning … couldn’t sleep due to the anticipation.  Only 10 hours ‘til Kickoff.

Eagles 30

Giants 24

AJ 100 yards 2 TD.
CJG INT

sweat x2 sacks

I just hope they play aggressive and none of this vanilla playcalling trying to be too safe. If we do that we lose, the giants are no mugs.

They’re mugs.

Wonder if that means every championship game would be held in some dome stadium?

Can you imagine an indoor team like the Rams, Saints, Cowboys, etc that in the future get a #1 seed only for the NFCCG to be held in Lambeau or somewhere where it's freezing cold and snowing.  Would kinda take away their advantage of having the #1 seed.

Also if they did do neutral site games then they'd have the revenue from that obviously but then they could also have extra revenue from having watch party's at the 2 competing teams stadiums.  Mo money.

@LeanMeanGM:

Eagles 37  Giants 17

Comfortably numb.

Uhhh would tickets not sell as much if not more or faster if it was in Buffalo or KC?

Yeah this is the part I don't get.  What teams that host AFC or NFC Championship Games is having issues selling tickets?  This does nothing but F over fans.

I hope not.  A team deserves a reward for being the #1 seed.

I think it’s more that even at a neutral site and on short notice the tickets are getting quickly snatched up. I have no doubt that neutral sites would be a money maker because it would be similar to a Super Bowl type experience, albeit on a smaller scale.

I just hate it from a perspective of making the regular season mean something. I don’t think a single bye week and home game is enough for the No. 1 seed. The environment would be far more sanitized too.

And concerts, and block parties, and cities making bids to host.
