Can we just get to game time now? I hate these kickoffs, 2.15am is no time to start watching  game. The hardest part is pacing yourself so you aren't hammered by kickoff. I've already had one nap today, don't think I can manage another one. Fly Eagles Fly

The funny thing about your prediction is, the Eagles absolutely should have 400+ yards of offense tonight.  The Giants are going to pressure the line of scrimmage, try to slow down the Eagles run game, and shut off Hurts’ run lanes.  At least, that’s what they should do.

The problem for them is AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith.  The Giants play a ton of man coverage in their secondary and I don’t think their CBs will be able to cover Brown and Smith for very long.  There will be downfield throws there for the taking.  Even if the Giants can generate a good pass rush, the slants to Brown and the intermediate routes to Goedert should chew them up.

I think this will be a game resembling some of the early season games — a close first quarter, the Eagles bludgeon the Giants with a 17-20 point second quarter, then ground-and-pound the second half away.

Sipping on black coffee until the Jags-Chiefs game. Will then transition to beer. Homemade pizza during that game's halftime. Then whiskey for the Eagles game.

Same.  Giants are peaking and the Eagles limped to the finish.  Hopefully getting Lane back helps the offense.  The Eagles are the much more talented team, but sometimes that doesn’t matter.

Yep, if the NFL smells a buck in the water, you can bet your life they will find a way to get it...and then ruin everything good about it.  NFLCG weekend will eventually be hosted in two separate neutral site cities and it will be spread over the course of 3 days with concerts, celebrity events among other things. Tickets will cost 10x what they should eliminating the casual fan but there will be a "fan experience" to get people to go to that city.  There will be no more home field advantage and winning it for your city.  The four major sports leagues are capitalism at it's worst with the NCAA and college football close on their tails.  Corporate greed at the worst level possible that we ignore because we love sports.

 

Hell, I still miss the old NFC/AFC Championship trophies.  Bad enough they ruined those.

Negadelphia. Philly fans can never allow themselves to be optimistic, they always believe the sports boogeyman is out to get them. The Eagles are a far better team, if they can't win tonight, they weren't made for the moment and take solace in the fact that they had no shot anyway if they can't beat this team.
