Nah... Daboll is fine.

Probably. But dinking and sinking down the field when you are down 4 TDs and punting down 3TDs in the 4th quarter is not great coaching calls.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Didn't realize we had more rushing yards than they did total yards.

Not sure if it's been discussed but I heard on a fox sports radio update they were saying the Eagles had something like 150 yards rushing before contact.

I really want to get to another SB but also in my mind, we now have had a successful season no matter what happens. Siris second season and Hurts Second season as a full time starter? Yeah a NFCCG appearance is completely acceptable. But let's win two more all the same.

Finding a franchise qb is the easiest cheat code to a prolonged run of success in the NFL. We are now in the Chiefs/Bengals/Bills level of the league, and the only NFC team in that level right now.

Couple little rushing facts I learned this morning.

We ran for 656 yards vs NY. Most any team has ran on another in a season.

We ran the zone read 30 something times last night, for over 200 yards (forget the exact number).

hey guys and gals , have alittle rant here , did anybody else think it looked like the refs were spotting the giants downs more favorable then the eagles spots. IMO we got spotted a yard back and they were spotted forward. except for the good spot on their bobbled pass that bradberry made a good hit on the WR.

In a word, no.

Also am I the only one who sees the similarity?

Kid was running hard yesterday. Good to see.

Yup he wasn't t going down with arm tackles.

Hopefully he and the rest of them can keep it rolling.

Heath Sherman ran for over 100 and a TD against a really good Saints Defense the next week against the cowboys he got shut down.

Of course this team is a lot more diverse running the ball than that team and gainwell isn't the bell cow, so I expect them to still be able to run the ball against the niners or cowboys.

I’m really surprised by how averse people are about Chicago going QB at #1.

It has nothing to do with me viewing Justin Fields as a bust, that’s internet hyperbole. You don’t move on from a player only because he’s a bust. If Philly offered DeVonta Smith straight up for Christian Kirk, does Jacksonville say no (financials ignored)? They had similar seasons, similar stats. But of course Jacksonville does it; DeVonta is substantially the better prospect, much younger and has far more potential. That philosophy works in every position, you want the best possible player with the highest upside. Why does it not work at QB more than any?

Has Fields earned a giant longterm deal yet? Does he look like he’s about to explode for an MVP-contention season or lead the Bears to the division title next year? No, he had some really good moments in 2022, but his worth to Chicago is still based almost entirely on future projection. He is still a prospect. Having said that, If Justin Fields were in this draft, he would not be the top prospect, he would not even be a top 2 QB. Maybe not even top 3 depending on how high you are with Levis.

Stroud and Young are hands down better prospects at the most important position in professional sports. Trying to get a 1 for Fields and drafting Stroud should be the slam dunk move. Doesn’t mean Fields is a bust by any means. Just about making the team as good as possible.

Stroud is not a slam dunk, doesn't do well under pressure and doesn't really run.

I'd just like to see them rip the page out of the playbook where they run the flanker screen to him.  Not a fan.

Was very happy to finally see not only a wrinkle off the QB sneak, but also that they actually ran a 'regular' play on a 3rd and 1 last night - both converted, btw.

The most interesting part of everything last night was that the Eagles intentionally showed two formations last night, with no intention of actually running a play out of it.  First, was the 2 point conversion at the end of the half where Jurgens lined up over the ball, then the line shifted to Kelce at center... and they went hard count, before calling the TIMEOUT.   Second, the punt formation where they motioned into the 'QB' sneak with Blankenship, and then they took the delay of game.

Is this 4D chess they are playing?  Not sure why you'd throw that wrinkle out there and put it on tape so that a team can prepare for it ahead of time?  Very interesting.  Not sure I like it, not sure I hate it.  But it does seem clear that the coaching staff felt confident enough in this past game to prepare to put things out there for future opponents to worry about, with (seemingly) no intention to use it during this game.

That formation with Jurgens over center initially and then shifting is already on tape. They showed it on the two point conversion against the Bears late in that game. I believe Hurts casually snuck in for the conversion.

It has to drive NYG fans absolutely nuts that they can't beat us.

Having Ray Didinger back on PGL makes me realize so much more that Jaws is the at the core of the reason why it's unbearable to watch.

I don't watch the show, but I find it hard to believe that someone (Jaws) is actually worse than Barrett Brooks. It doesn't compute.

the dude that posted the link to the giants message board last night, that was awesome, those guys are all fogtags

I honestly think the Bears might have a keeper at QB but the rest of the team sucks.

Quick question for the game coming up in a hour. Anyone else think Cincinnati is getting hosed just a little by having to play in Buffalo?

He took a little hit on it but yes he looped left for a fairly easy td if I recall correctly

Umm...no. The Bills finished a game ahead of them in the standings.

Historic beatdown.
