He does have a no-trade clause, but I believe he could waive it.

why would he do that? In his first 3-4 nfl seasons he's made more money off endorsements bc of being dallas qb than from his contract.

I wonder what the record is for rookies in their first road playoff game? Has to be not good. As it is Purdy is a 7th Rounder. That has to bode well for the Eagles.

I don't think he would, but I think players are able to waive it if they want to. It basically puts the decision in the players hands and not the teams.

Takeaways from this weekend:

1.  Eagles sandbagged the rest of the nfl for a solid 1.5 months.

2. I’m still very worried about the collective ability/health of the OL to not musical chair us to death against SF.

Non Eagles:

1.  Buffalo should take a long look at a coaching change with an offensive guru at HC and a new DC.  Allen and the offense really suffered without Daboll and the McDermott playoff defenses are just an embarrassing step back.

2.  Dallas is officially in purgatory.  They are a good team, quality players in every unit…and their foundation is at the peak of its life cycle.  And they just decisively aren’t good enough.  I guess the move for them is to keep bashing their head against the same wall and hope for better luck at some point in the next 2-3 years.  They are too good to fall off the map and not good enough to compete.

3.  I like AR and I like Mahomes (and Travis Kelce), but I have some real KC fatigue.  I’m just tired of all of them.

4. Is the world ready for the Bengals franchise to be a perennial contender?

5.  Things change so fast in the nfl….but there is just a massive QB inequality across the conferences.  Hurts really does look like the class of the NFC with no remote second place (Dak????).  Meanwhile, AFC has Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, an emergent Lawrence and Herbert.  And the trio of "maybe better in 2023” with Watson, Wilson, and Jackson.  Pretty much every one of them is better than anyone in NFC besides Hurts.
