Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Purdy isn’t very mobile. I’d actually attack him relentlessly. Bring the heat, hit him hard repeatedly. Maybe we give up some big plays but I think we can make him wilt under pressure, especially if our offense can get some early points.

He’s pretty mobile…

What if the Eagles let Sanders walk, draft someone, and look at Elliott on the cheap for a 1-2 year basement level deal.  Would the blog melt down?

So many bad memories of former Cowgirls coming to Philly and it just being disastrous!!!

That’s Demarco Murray on steroids. I would actively boo him every week no matter what.

Purdy's mobile enough that we need to prep for it.

Who do they have that can cover Kittle?

Hopefully not a DT.

That big catch Kittle had he was covered by a DT chasing him 30 yards down field, not sure Gannon is stupid enough to do that.

Gannon plays a lot of zone so it will be some different looks than Dallas gave them.

Hopefully they can contain Kittle he's a gamer.

He doesn’t fit the kind of personality this team targets. Thank god

Yup, mobile qbs have given eagles trouble at times this year.

He's more mobile in the pocket than a threat out of it in my opinion.

Agreed. He's a nice playmaker outside the pocket.

Not sure if anyone watched McCarthy's post game presser, but dude looks like he's going to have a heart attack and is talking like he just had a stroke...

Doc needs to check that blood pressure ...

Similar approach to him as was deployed against Daniel Jones.  Disciplined rush with the DTs and BG pushing the pocket while Reddick and/or Sweat apply outside and high side pressure driving him toward the "wall” the other DLinemen have built. Jones occasionally escaped, but always with a modest/ limited gain.  Purdy seems to be fond of naked bootlegs, which the DL will have to be aware of.

Another one of the Kielce high snaps, which Hurts’ athleticism handled quite well before handing off the ball to Gainwell.

Purdy didnt win the game for the niners, he just didn't lose it.

Eagles defense isn't the Dallas defense.

Eagles run defense is better their pass rush is better and their corners are better.

If Dak doesn't implode cowboys probably win, they were in it til the end even without Pollard and a banged up o line.

Meanwhile the niners mostly healthy played like crap majority of the game on offense until they decided to run the ball straight up the gut

As always the game will be won in the trenches.

Cowboys neutralized niners pass rush but in the end they didn't stop the niners run game.

If eagles can block the niners and tackle the niners they'll win, if not they'll lose

Pretty sure that was minshew at Qb

Agreed. Daniel Jones mobile but not Hurts mobile.

I think the Eagles should go into this game doing what they do. The Eagles are their best when they play their game. The Niners have a very good run defense. I think the Eagles rushing attack is good enough to run on them. Then I think if/when they need to, they can make plays through the air. Then on defense, they won't shut them down, but make enough plays and force a turnover or two.

Purdy and Shanahan are perfectly content staying away from Slay and Bradberry if we’re gonna sit in zone. He’ll attack the middle of the field and try to create YAC. It’ll be a big boy game for our LBs and safeties if Gannon decides to go zone.

Yup, gotta be sure tackling, so much of SF offense is built on YAC, limit the YAC win the game.

No reason to sit back deep on the niners either, they don't really have a consistent deep threat on the outside.
