On plays that weren't designed rollouts, Purdy didn't look good on the move which is a positive for us. He definitely threw up his fair share of ducks. The only QB that gave us fits with their mobility was Fields and they're not in the same stratosphere in terms of athleticism.

Murray gave them problems this year when he ran. The DL is aggressive, which is great, but when they don't keep contain they are vulnerable because of how up field they get.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

When the guy questioning your sanity yesterday proves to be unhinged by randomly reacting with anger to a funny video by yelling at Kelce for a bad snap while he was on the sidelines and praising #1 Hurts when it was clearly #10 Minshew at QB.  Welcome to the EMB.

Sure, but I might try to pin their ears back early and try to make Purdy uncomfortable for basically the first time this season. Gotta be smart, but can’t let him get comfortable by playing scared. Better him run than Deebo or McCaffery

Agreed, but that is one of the pluses of a controlled rush by the DTs and BG.  They can limit Deebo and McCaffrey’s running lanes while collapsing the pocket. Once Purdy has kept the ball then the threat from Deebo and/or McCaffrey is gone.  The key will be Slay and Bradberry and CJGJ locking down their respective receivers.

Not unhinged.  Just sloppy.  I didn’t question your sanity.  I clearly stated you were nuts.  That was yesterday. You may have had a change of heart today.

Both the Eagles and Niners will be game planning to shut down the other team’s run game.  Shanahan will have Purdy getting the ball out quick to try to neutralize the Eagles pass rush.  If I was Gannon I’d be planning to double Kittle whenever he’s out on pass routes.

I think this game comes down to Sirianni/Steichen vs Demeco Ryans planning and in-game adjustments.  Eagles have the advantage of a downfield passing game if their running attack gets bottled up.  I think the Niners will live and die with the running game and McCaffrey/Deebo short throws as an extension of the run.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 24, Niners 20.

The SF defense will hold them in it for quite awhile, but at some point the Eagles will hit enough chunk plays to break them down.

I’m also going with Bengals over Chiefs, unfortunately.  I can’t see how Mahomes heals up enough to best Burrow

I'm not sure who wins but I don't like our coaches vs theirs. Ryans seems to make adjustments on the fly while Gannon struggles. I think Shanahan will have a very good game plan and put his guys in positions to succeed against the weaknesses of the Eagles. Steichen did well against the Giants, but he has a mountain in front of him this week.

Run the ball and throw 9 routes. We shouldn't throw between the hashes all game.

You don’t like any AJ hot slant routes?

Jeez.  Hurts pays his rent every week while the Cowboys are rent free in the heads of Philly fans everywhere.

They don’t even think of the Eagles as their biggest rival.  There is just no reason to be this concerned with their fortunes.  They haven’t earned that kind of attention.

Who do the Cowboys think is their biggest rival?

I lived in Dallas from 89 through 96.  Their hate for the Eagles eclipsed all other teams by a lot.  I don’t think that has changed.  We are always standing in their way.

The eagles have played the niners once in the playoffs, way back in 1995 and lost.

Having said the first and only NFL game I've ever been to was when I lived in SF and my buddy who was a season ticket holder took me

Eagles won, niners werent very good that year.

Eagles and niners aren't really rivals at all.

I'd say GB and Saints are bigger rivals outside of division, maybe even cardinals because they used to be in NFC east.

Saints

Don’t feel great the line already moved down to -1.5

I've seen it bouncing around from -1.5 to -.2.5 depending on where you look.

I’m also predicting Birds-Bengals in the SB.

Maybe sparingly. Throwing short/intermediate into the middle of their defense is dangerous. Their DBs are good at tackling but seem to be mediocre on coverage so it's probably best to isolate them.

Late money is smart money.

Everyone who access the board on a mobile device, please post any issues you see with the upgrade. Specifically, I'm talking about the 'look and feel' kind of stuff. Not stuff like reputation/post count or badges and such.

Post here so that I can keep track of anything:

Just getting back to the states and all I gotta say is 1) go birds 2) the cowboys are bad and should feel bad 3) a whole lotta eagles fans made a buncha money on a Boston Scott anytime TD bet yesterday and good for them.

Smart money beats the open. Consistently beat opening lines and you’ll consistently win… and likely get the bam hammer from a lot of bookmakers.

I think no team has won after playing San Francisco either. 0-16 this year.

0-15. KC technically didn’t win or lose cause they had a bye week the next week. Cardinals week 18 lost and season was over.
