Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Purdy actually has to play in a hostile environment for the first time and for two weeks he has throw multiple balls that should have been INTs.

Slay, Bradberry, CJGJ will catch those

yep, most important game of the Eagles defensive MVP's career.

Our defensive MVP is Sir Haason of Reddick

I want an old school Jim Johnson level relentless pass rush from the very first snap.

Got to make sure you that you actually catch it. Diggs dropped one. Seattle dropped like 2-3. Love foles but in 2013, he had a similar type of run where he had just 2 ints but i believe his expected INT rate was higher as there were throws defenders just dropped picks

My sarcasm didn't play off very well on that one.

Gross.

What would be the point of trying to get home field advantage.???

Instituting neutral field games would totally hose home team fans.

Total money grab by the league and nothing else.

  When Trolling goes wrong.   Skip's Hot Takes always backfire more times than not.

He's got a face you want to punch over and over

The Niners basically try to bully you until you quit.  They play a little dirty too, the way they tackle and try to hurt people.  That ish is intentional.

The Cowboys actually did a good job holding up to the physical challenge, that surprised me.  But they ran out of gas and losing Pollard killed any chance they had.

The Eagles are something entirely different.  Micah Parsons said before the game that the Niners hadnt seen anything like them and he was right.  Well now comes Chapter 2, not only can the Eagles chase after your QB, they can smash you in the mouth too on both sides of the ball.

I think the Eagles straight up bully the bully, I think they hammer the Niners and their D ends up folding.  Mark it down now.   I don't really give a F about Purdy because he wont be able to keep up.

Agreed on the SF defense, should be a heavyweight fight.

On the other side of the ball the biggest loser was their OL - I had a healthy respect for their run game, but it took them until the 4Q to get any momentum against a pretty light DL - and in known passing situations they were giving up pressure quick particularly inside.  Joe Cool Purdy doesn't like inside pressure and will bail early - after that his vision/choices are questionable.

Bold prediction i think cincy wins that game in KC. And i think it’s by more than 7 and KC doesn’t score more than 21 points.

How bold of you. The previous AFC Super Bowl team beats Mahomes on one leg.

How do you live being so dangerous!?

VA should deduct a badge for such a "bold" prediction

Dan Quinn did us a favor too, exposing Purdys habit of rolling to the right.  They were forcing him left and he didnt like it at all

Yep. Pressure him up the middle and force him to his left.

I also think we're going to run the ball just fine against them.

Run the ball early and often then open it up to Smith, Brown and Goedert

Good point - if he has that tendency you can force him left, or let him slip into HQQ.  The big thing is obviously take away the run, bubbles and dumps offs - make him beat you.

That's a W, see you in Glendale.

So, everyone was hoping to get bad Purdy, I would say 6 of his 8 quarters in the playoffs have not been good.  So I feel we will get the best version of him.

I'm not going to lie; I look for Stephen A and Shannon Sharpe whenever the Cowboys loose. Its my guilty pleasure 🙂

49ers are more susceptible to the pass, but the Birds have the best OL and will need to establish the run. Some say the Birds have had an easy schedule all year, but the 9ers have had an even easier schedule.

Lane is the key to this game. If he can stay in the game, I have no doubt they can win. Anytime the Birds go against an elite pass rush, they completely shut it down with Lane.

I've been thinking along the same lines.  The key matchup in this game is our O-line vs. their D-line.  If we win that matchup, we will win this game. I'm a little worried about what CMC and Kittle can do, but if we can limit the damage there we should be fine.

So, now that the Cowboys are out, what do you think they do this offseason?  Go all in and try to get another WR (Deandre Hopkins?). New coach?  Move on from big names (Zeke?)

Nah. Hostile crowd, most likely a cold day. Let's get it!

We can beat his best version, just saying I think he has gotten the bad out of his system at this point.

Gould will miss his first fg in his playoff career
