Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Kinda feels like they are using the injury as an excuse

I think he was pissed that Hurts over threw him and his lack of targets.  He did make several good blocks during the game.  He did also seem like his leg was bothering him.   If he wants to sit on the sideline and be pissed but he still goes out and performs, that's fine with me.

Ill admit the casting couch ones do it for me.

You just dont find that type of storytelling everywhere.

He was grabbing at his hammy several times after a play.  I can deal with him being upset about that, but pouting over a lack of targets in a convincing playoff win is a bad look.

My top 5 in order would be

1.  Mahomes

2.  Burrow

3.  Herbert

4.  Allen

5.  Hurts

It's a somewhat tricky discussion because supporting cast means so much.  Herbert is betrayed by horrid coaching and WRs who are in and out of the lineup.

Not sure what Herbert has done to get put over Hurts.

He has talent but it hasn't translated I to winning.  He has played on some talented teams too.

No .....terrible list.

Jk, its actually harder once you sit down and rank them.

I was going with the idea of the QB in a perfect supporting cast

It is because there are QBs like Chargers and Packers that struggled as a team but the QB is very talented

Hurts has an insane amount of talent around him if you think about it

I prefer the ones with good character development with a plot twist at the end where you know there will be a sequel.

I prefer the M Night Shyamalan ones that have a slow burn and then the twist reveal of it was actually her step brother the whole time in a mask!

49ers announced that Jimmy Garoppolo could be back for the NFC Championship game.

What are the chances we see him at some point next Sunday?

I wonder who Chop is cheering for

Lawrence was absolutely fantastic down the stretch??? What are you talking about?

And if you took away Mahomes, you don’t think KC would collapse?

I know you struggle with advanced stats, but the year Mahomes just posted is beyond absurd when looking at the weapons he has. It’s frankly not even a debate between Mahomes and anybody else. 5 straight AFCCG too. Are you just being a contrarian?

Yeah he was "meh" vs. Tenn.  Of course the 4 picks didnt help in that first half.  And he was "meh" again va. KC.  Good prospect but not in my top 5.

And man, I dont know.  You can call me a Mahomes hater, I guess I am.  But boy Chad Henne went right down the field when they needed it most.  He cant make all the crazy plays Mahomes could, but Mahomes can be wreckless too with his hero ball.  Lets not forget his SB clunker either.

AR took the Eagles to 4 straight. Hes a helluva coach and like I said, they essentially get a free pass to the postseason kind of like the Eagles did in the old NFCE.  What can I say, the sidearm throws are cute but don't move me.

At this point making the change would be a bad move IMO.  They are winning, why change things up now.

Tim McManus wasted another question about pizza/food. I'm not posting it because it's not funny anymore.

Which one would you rather face?

Chargers defense has been bottom 1/3rd for his 3 years.

I was just looking, bottom 1/3 the last two years.

They were 10th in yards allowed his rookie year.

I was just going by Pro Football References default ranking, which is by points allowed.

I'm not a body language expert, but he's strutting around like C of the walk in the Eagles pic, and already defeated and worn out in the Niners pic

It’s reckless. Wreckless isn’t a word I don’t believe.

But anyway…you’re ignoring Mahomes body of work because of one Chad Henne drive?

And if Reid is such a great coach, why wouldn’t he just ride with Henne then and let Mahomes rest and heal?

I was on vacation. Watched the divisional round on a cruise ship but was set to fly back Sunday morning in time to watch the game, until the flight was canceled. I remember looking through a phone book with my dad to find a hotel and sports bar, and chose some place in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area. We pulled up to two giant Eagle inflatables and a huge watch party, having no idea the place we chose was owned by some guy who was from Philly. I knew that was a sign we were winning that game.

I was in my seat in section 203.

Mahomes had no tackles in that game though. I'll probably never forget this throw even though he dropped it

Damn. Didn't know they block it on here. Well you can click and watch it on youtube
