Yup, I feel like there's no mystery why the Cowboys/Niners line opened and stayed at what it did after their Tampa game. Even if they thought the Cowboys were going to get whooped, there's no reason to move the line because there was probably so much money coming in for Dallas. It's basically free money to them.

If they opened with 9pt Eagles line do you think 50% of the money would be on Eagles and 50% on the 9ers? That’s Vegas’ goal - to keep the percentage and not gamble.

Vegas is good, very good

So the bengals are now slight favorites to win in KC. Sounds like the Mahomes’ injury is truly debilitating.

Looking at the stats for the Giants game on Saturday, they got 118 yards rushing on 20 carries, which is a respectable 5.9 YPC. However, 98 of those yards came in the second half, only 20 came in the first half on 7 carries … a not so respectable 2.9 YPC.

I don’t believe the Birds are as bad against the run as that argument suggests.

Thoughts?

The Eagles shut down the run in the 1st half when the game was competitive.

In the 2nd half, we were inviting them to run the ball. They did it successfully on their scoring drive, but the drive took 6 minutes. On their last drive to the end the game, they ran the ball 3 times for 18 yards. We shut them down.

I do not think our run D is good. However, the only team to give us problems against the run with Davis/Joseph/Suh IMO was Dallas in game 2. The stats look ok, but we were allocating resources to stop the run, then Dak went off. Dallas OL that game pushed us around too much. Dallas' OL is more physical than SF's OL too. While Deebo/Kittle are physical players, their OL is more athletic than powerful. They're not soft, but they're not nasty either.
