Hypothetically, if one of these games were to go to overtime, with the new rules would you kickoff or receive? To me, it would depend on how the offense and defense looks heading into overtime. Curious how teams will play it if it happens.

Unless I'm missing something, I would think it would be the same dynamic as the college OT rules in that you would naturally want to defer so you have a clear picture of what you need to do in any potential 4th down situations.

Has anyone posted about 49ers Charles Omenihu's arrest last night on suspicion of domestic violence? Can't see how the lead lets him suit up.

Who else could that be if not Dallas?

It’s us. Howie has probably wanted to fire Sirianni ever since he had the audacity to use a flower analogy to professional football players.

The situation wouldn’t result in a league-imposed suspension until after the criminal case is concluded, at the earliest. It’s also unlikely that Omenihu would be placed on paid leave.

Lol yeah.

There's no pizza in jail

Same 5 meals every week.

One of them I think it was Wednesday we called Rhino nut, it was just a big greasy mystery meat ball. With some instant taters and if I remember right mushy collard greens.

I remember my first couple weeks I couldn't eat the food and I was trading whole trays away for like a little carton of milk

A month in I was scarfing down my rhino nut in record time.

How long were you in?  Federal or state?

What a F'ing idiot.

I feel smarter already.

Let's just say I find it extremely unlikely that people who limit their adjectives to include only Fing this or Fing that are more intelligent than people who can actually find a more descriptive term.

What about people that can do both?

Depending on the situation, etc?  People that use certain words for dramatic effect vs people that use them to "put down/cuss” at others, etc?

Apparently opposing teams fans dislike Sirianni.

He doesn't care...

Yup he'd be cut and blacklisted, but no video NFL doesn't have to act like they care.

If they can do both, then they aren't limited in their vocabulary, are they?  Of course, there are far better insults for people than to merely 'cuss' at them.

Rather than calling someone a 'fa--ot' why not call them a milksop or a mollycoddle?  Those terms would actually be much more accurate anyway to what they are intending to say anyway.   Much more effective to insult someone accurately with a term that they have to go check the definition of rather than going with the much more generic and/or worn out tropes.

"This is a big F-ing deal". vs.  "This is a colossal achievement with massive implications and dramatic impact."     Which one requires more intelligence and a great grasp of language?

Also, depends on your audience. Are we speaking to cowboy fans?

If I'm speaking, I would probably use the first one since it quickly and succinctly gets the message across, but if its written down for some paper I would use the second.

That 2010 defense wasn't legit?

Matthews, Woodson, Tramon Williams, etc.

We are a visual society, no doubt.  But the league holding him out is still dependent on the court proceedings, I do believe, not the perception.   The 49ers, on the other hand, have no such restrictions.

No one likes us and we don't care. Sirianni keeping the flame alive!

The question was asked about intelligence being linked to usage.

Did Rice instantly get suspended or do they wait? I honestly don't remember but there was video and it was some extreme visual

I often times wonder how many of these are staged with the replacement tv waiting to be hooked up off camera. Possibly not even recorded live. I can see them rewinding the DVR so they can record the reaction for social media.
