Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

It is working for now, but I just picture it running out and wearing thin.

As long as he keeps showing his Chops on the sidelines, I don't care if he's the Effen Dorm Monitor in your mind.

Players love him, he's got the locker room.

Fiery!

Probably on purpose.

We clinched the NFCE with the Rams win but not #1 seed

That must be what I was thinking of.

Well that's from the NFL, not from the 49ers

This game feels like the titans game to me. A lot of hype about their run D giving us issues, and we just went bombs away and exposed their secondary. AJ is gonna have his chances this week, let’s hope he’s up to the task.

The key to this game will be adapting.  SFs defense might be the best in the NFL, but it’s not the 2000’s Ravens, 80’s Bears, or 90’s Eagles.

The Eagles offense has been remarkably effective all year in succeeding early with a pre-determined plan of attack.  Sometimes bombs away, sometimes punishing run game. Whichever it is, it almost always works early and there’s no need to deviate.

Sunday, I think, Siri will have to deviate.  SF is probably good enough to shut down one aspect of their offense of their choosing.  They aren’t good enough to stop both.

Out of all the Sirianni or Brandon Graham talk, I'm surprised there isn't more about Reddick getting snubbed for Defensive Player of the Year.

Nope that goes to Micah Parsons in a landslide.

True, I read that beginning part too fast. I still don't think 49ers will proactively do anything about it though.

Close. It’s Bosa’s award this year

For what. Both have the same number of passes defended, Reddick has 2 more Forced Fumbles, Reddick has 2.5 more sacks, Parsons has one more QB hit and 3 more TFL. Reddick also played about 100 less snaps.

Chris Jones has a strong case with 15 1/2 sacks as a DT.

My vote order out of the 4 mentioned: Bosa, Jones, Reddick, Parsons

Yup. I don't think Reddick would win but I think he should be considered.

Seeing the turnaround the team had with Wilks as interim, sure seems like Carolina should go with him.

Payton’s market has dried up because of the S ain’ts compensation demand. He just isn’t worth that. NOLA overplayed that.

Joking.......

I say Parsons will win it because you know he plays for America's team and all.

He definitely doesn't deserve it but wouldn't surprise me if he gets talked about for the award because of who he plays for.

There's a real chance we keep both Gannon and Steichen. Would be fantastic for 2023. I'm not the biggest Gannon fan, but continuity matters.

This is a big Gannon fan.

Plus, Payton walked out and left the Saints high and dry in his scheme with Brady to skip out to Miami.  Integrity might count for something in a future employer's eyes.

This is great as always, but Daniel Jones saying, "I am about to be Kurt Cousins rich" is especially good.

Parson played through a lot of injury this year and that may impact the vote.

It makes me wonder if the Saints plan to try to re-hire him if Allen doesn't work out. Otherwise, why wouldn't you lower your demands? You'd want another team to hire him because you'd be getting draft compensation. Even if they lowered their demand just to one 2nd round pick, that's better than you getting nothing in return and the teams hiring other coaches.

The Saints traded a 2023 1st with us, because a) they thought they would be good in 2022 and b) they assumed that they could trade Payton for a 1st.

Neither happened.

NOLA is lucky Philly is looking to hire Payton because they would end up sending the Eagles another 1st round pick.  I agree that Wilks should be the choice in Carolina.  They have a decent roster.  They just need a QB and o-line help.  With the division they are in, they could easily win it next year with marginal improvement at a few positions.
