The Saints traded a 2023 1st with us, because a) they thought they would be good in 2022 and b) they assumed that they could trade Payton for a 1st.

Neither happened.

Good. F the Saints.

If he doesn't get that this is about the team winning over him then he can get traded again at the end of the year.

The NFL really should find a better merchandise partner than Fanatics.

Their processing / shipping is quite a joke.

I ordered a bunch of stuff for the kids….placed the order on Sunday, the only shipping option was 3-5 business days.

Now everything is showing not arriving until next week.

I would have gladly paid a premium for 2 day or overnight shipping, but it wasn’t even an option.

Pretty weak.

Joking.......

I say Parsons will win it because you know he plays for America's team and all.

He definitely doesn't deserve it but wouldn't surprise me if he gets talked about for the award because of who he plays for.

With the hype around Parsons, I think it's only a matter of time before he's on Mount Rushmore. And I'm not talking about the metaphorical Mount Rushmore of football. I mean the actual one in South Dakota. Apparently he's that awesome.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with anything he said there.

I love AJ Brown and that whole sideline thing means infinitely more to the media than any of his teammates.

I personally want my star receiver to demand he gets the ball.  No problem at all with it.

I thought he handled the questions well. As long as he doesn't turn into Stefon Diggs, yelling at the QB on the sidelines, then we're good. Though he has been known to give less than 100% effort on some plays, and you can't help but wonder if that can become a problem if he's not happy with the flow of a game.

The top receivers are all the same. Massive egos , want the ball all the time and throw tantrums when it doesn’t happen

I just went to about 7 or 8 websites.  Half have 5 finalists listed for Coach of the Year with Sirianni being one of them.  The other half only has 3 finalists and no Nick.  The NFL website is one of the ones with 5 candidates.

Having lived through the whole McNabb TO issue- this is not a good sign. McNabb and TO were good freinds too at one time.

Then they couldn't be on the same team together.

It is confusing with the graphic NFL put out but there's only 3

Meh, it wasn't that bad at all.  Yes he said he wanted the ball but he also said he wasn't going to be causing any trouble.  Of course we want him to want the ball.

Yeah, fair enough, I guess several of the other sites have just picked up the NFL page and it is wrong.

When you win 38-7, does the game need 'changing'?  🤔

How far is that demand for the ball allowed to go?

Can he throw a tantrum and smack himself in the face with the kicking net?

Did you guys bother to actually watch the entire clip instead of the first few seconds?

Time will tell... the TO situation didn't start out that bad either.  And now we have a WR on the opposite side from him that just set the team record in receptions, while Brown set the team record for yards.    Meanwhile, this came about during a game (in the playoffs) where the opposition was never even close to being in the game.  38-7, and we have players upset with their usage?   If it was a closer game, or the Eagles were getting beat, I could see the argument/frustration.   But, when your running game is steam rolling the opponent, in the playoffs to get you to the NFC CG... maybe check your ego at the door and just enjoy the victory.

If you would have watched the entire clip, you would know the answer to this.

Saying the right thing days later is a minor thing.  If he said the wrong things days later then that's a massive issue.   But the issue in this case is where his mind was during the game.  He was clearly frustrated, and yet the team was rolling.   It should have been sunshine and lollipops on the sidelines, not a time to have a fuss and feel the need to 'change the game' when everything was working to near perfection in that game.   Wrong time for a selfish thought process.   Playoffs are about one thing and one thing only... winning.  Anything other than that is a concern.   Some concerns are bigger than others.  Hopefully this concern goes back to being a nothing burger.

Agreed- but thats today.  He was visibly unhappy on the sideline Saturday night - even though- the team was blowing out a division rival in a divisional playoff game

Sorry That is a concern going fwd. to me. Because it can be a distraction. I dont need Hurts forcing the ball to Brown if there were/are better options. I need Hurts making the best decisions for the team and not whats best for Brown.

Where is the info coming from that the pouting was due to him not getting the ball?  I haven't read anything that gave a reason and in one place (think it was D. Gunn) the speculation was that he had tweaked his ankle or a hammy.

In any case, yes, time will tell but this 90 seconds on its own isn't an issue.

Same question as for IPhan - Where are you reading that he was upset due to not getting the ball?
