He was clearly upset, and SIri had to console him.

That's Coach Of The Year stuff right there.  What are his odds of winning?

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

He didn't say any of the stuff

They write all sorts of stuff in the tweets.

The tweet was tied to the video of him answering I just want the ball. I suppose you could say McManus is lying about what the question was about... but thats kind of ignoring the whole thing

This AJ Brown "controversy" is ridiculous. Every WR in the league wants the ball.

wanting the ball isn't the issue..

pouting on the sideline when you are blowing out a division rival in the Divisional round of the playoffs is a whole nother story. He should be celebrating and happy with teh team. That selfishness wont play well in the long term.

That was right after he almost caught a long TD pass.

It's TO's voice over the Brown video... you missed the point of that reel...

Boomer fans complaining about a wide receiver being too much of a diva.  That, the sky is blue and water is wet at 10!

McManus might be right that the vid was during a session where reporters were trying to get an answer about what had happened on the sideline BUT that doesn't mean that the specific 90 seconds was Brown answering that direct question.

During a BLOWOUT of a team in the division during the divisional rd. The whole team was aware.

When asked about it, he just wants the ball

sorry thats an issue.

I wonder if it had to do with Adoree Jackson or not because there might be a big feud between them since they both played together in Tennessee. Maybe Adoree was talking a lot of **** and AJ let it get to him.

LOL- while you are correct we dont know 100%, your naivete is showing

AJ Brown had his best blocking game of the season, and people are calling him selfish.🤣

You're taking disparate bits and trying to squeeze them into a puzzle without having the details to do so.  You're jumping way ahead and trying to find a problem.

If this sort of things happens a few times and becomes a pattern then we can go that way.

Don't have an issue with AJ. Don't have an issue with his actions.

When/if it becomes a constant, then we can worry about it. For the most part in his time here while he has dogged some plays, he's been extremely productive and a good teammate.

I'm the farthest thing possible from naive.  All I'm saying is that you haven't showed any evidence of anything.  Brown might be the biggest diva around and is just a step away from going full TO but we aren't anywhere near making that call yet.  Calm down dude...

Agreed- but thats today.  He was visibly unhappy on the sideline Saturday night - even though- the team was blowing out a division rival in a divisional playoff game

Sorry That is a concern going fwd. to me. Because it can be a distraction. I dont need Hurts forcing the ball to Brown if there were/are better options. I need Hurts making the best decisions for the team and not whats best for Brown.

It's not the first time we saw him pout or had bad body language either. He was clearly showing it during the Saints game.

30 minutes ago, DrPhilly said:

Where is the info coming from that the pouting was due to him not getting the ball?  I haven't read anything that gave a reason and in one place (think it was D. Gunn) the speculation was that he had tweaked his ankle or a hammy.

In any case, yes, time will tell but this 90 seconds on its own isn't an issue.

Same question as for IPhan - Where are you reading that he was upset due to not getting the ball?

Nick said it

To be fair, everyone was. Minshew blew chunks and so did the gameplan.

Show me that.  He didn't say it in the article that was linked.

Show me a clip of him "pouting on the sidelines”.

(No, putting your face down and simply not smiling does not equal "pouting”)

Not to mention the fact that the guy was hurt and tweaked something.

You guys like to create drama where no drama exists.

I did not say why he was pouting, and said Monday it was probably the hammy situation.

Regardless, he was pouting and it was shown on national TV.

Lol classic, the TO sound byte overlaid with the slo-mo head pat.   This is peak Eagles fan ish right here

When both are healthy, who is a better player (at their respective positions) Bosa or Lane?

edit: I worded that like a moron. You get the point.

Lane, and it's a pretty easy answer

Oh no I bet AJ asks for a new contract this offseason and does sit-ups in his driveway

Wait.  So you think him complaining about not enough targets isn’t selfish?

Where did he complain?  Did he put out a tweet or something?

I'm not upset, I dont need to calm down,  I am just sharing my concerns.

(Why does everyone go from a dsicussion straight to a disagreement of massive proportions where we imagine people are screaming at each other through the screen in their minds? )

I am allowed to be concerened, you may overlook his being upset, Siri having to deal with it, Reporters asking about it and Brown's answer as being not a concern.

We will agree to disagree.

I just hope it's the only time we see it from him.
