Tim McManus just said Maddox has a good chance to play this week. Wow!

Where did you hear that? Don't see it on twitter anywhere.

Returning to practice is obviously a good sign but today was the first time even running on a football field. I'd be curious how that goes with change of direction, stopping etc.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Sitting on the bench pouting isn't complaining.  Showing frustration isn't complaining either.

Pouting and showing frustration is passive aggressive complaining.

Ike Reese is talking about it on WIP right now, and gave several instances during he season of bad body language from AJ.

And he was in the middle of the TO situation, so he knows a little bit about it.

Then talk about the 49ers D.  And when some want to talk about AJ Brown, let them.

And any time we talk about them, we are told they haven't played anyone so there is nothing to talk about.

Did you guys bother to actually watch the entire clip instead of the first few seconds?

Absolutely nothing wrong with anything he said there.

No, which is why I said he either realizes it's about the team or can get out.

Read what McManus wrote on the tweet. It was about his frustration on Sat night. Unless McManus is lying?

McManus is a reporter working hard to build a following.  All reporters see stories every now and then where no real story exists.  Some do it more than others.  Just look a Skip Bayless for a good example.

From what some of the doctors videos posted that's pretty amazing

You have my permission to talk about AJ Brown, just don't worry about him.

49ers have a good D.

When both are healthy, who is a better player (at their respective positions) Bosa or Lane?

edit: I worded that like a moron. You get the point.

Lane.

:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll: Dude has 91,000 followers on Twitter.  While I think he is an idiot, he has already built his following.

No one is worried.  People questioned if he was even pouting, so we showed you him pouting.

me thinks you are downplaying it just a bit.

He was clearly upset, and SIri had to console him.

There is a huge difference between being upset and pouting.

Sorry, not the same as complaining.  I agree it wasn't a good look though.

How did it start with TO, on the sidelines.

The first poster I engaged with on the topic expressed his concerns and I suggested he worry about something else.

Are you worried this will turn into another TO episode?

He basically frowned on the sideline.  Im willing to allow that.

Let's not act like he was getting physical or was getting in Hurts' face or something.  He wanted to join in on the beatdown, got caught in the moment, and everyone was fine afterwards

Totally blown out of proportion

I'm hoping so.

He was just a guest on worst show ever and told Cryronne he was limited today along with lane but he expects the eagles to have a full squad come Sunday.

During a BLOWOUT of a team in the division during the divisional rd. The whole team was aware.

When asked about it, he just wants the ball

sorry thats an issue.

For you it’s an issue.  Consider the source.

Lane.

Agreed but will Lane be healthy enough to stop Bosa?  What about Mailata on the other side?  We definitely need both of them to hold their own vs. Bosa.

He would pout and then complain, and then reverse course and pout with a sprinkle of being upset followed by showing frustration. Finally one day he crossed the pout and complain threshold and went full angry.

This AJ Brown "controversy" is ridiculous. Every WR in the league wants the ball.

Not JJAW.

The greatest tradition in Philadelphia history.

The Greasing of Poles.

I feel like the term diva is thrown around too loosely at times. There are varying degrees of selfish behaviors and not all of them end up with the toxicity that led to a split locker room like we saw with the TO situation. Heck, before CJGJ came here, there were concerns over his behavior as well but so far he's been fine. Sometimes these types of players are a bit of a dice roll because you never know if they'll forever be disgruntled malcontents or if they only needed an escape from their current situation. And if it does turn out for the worse, that doesn't necessarily mean a player of their caliber wasn't worth the gamble.

Hopefully for AJ, and for us, this type of thing doesn't go much farther beyond an occasional pout on the sidelines. But if we start to read about an anonymous locker room source leaking disparaging info about our QB to Josina Anderson, or he starts fighting Hugh Douglas in front of the whole team, then we know we F'ed up!

If an unhealthy Tyrone Smith was able to hold him check, I think Lane has a good shot to also.
