Interestingly though…the players obtained through other means…Slay, Bradberry, CJGJ, Epps, AJ Brown, Hargrave.  

I’d say, on the NFL bell curve, he’s crushing other GMs with the FA/trades additions and closer to the pack with the draft.

I mean, they’re both starters and were both drafted by Howie. No one would rip Ozzie Newsome for winning a Super Bowl with an old Ray Lewis or Bill Walsh for winning with an old Montana.

This idea that we just selectively ignore future hall of fame players and MVP candidates at QB because it’s inconvenient to ripping on our Super Bowl winning GM is peak Philly talk radio.
