That’s all true but the refs gave us the final nail in the coffin sadly

Yeah that was a stupid call. relative to other plays in the game, it was a tiny infraction that didn't slow the WR down at all, and worst part was the pass was totally uncatchable. Mahomes sailed it to the back of the end zone. Bad call, but it shouldn't have come down to that really. I think Gannon's being totally lost or his players being totally undisciplined ruined the game the most.

Stop this revisionist BS! The Fumble gave them 7, and we rattled off 10 straight. And went into half up 10. Hurts tied the game up and kept us in the game the whole time.    Defense gave up 24

Blaming Hurts is just crazy.  Without him, we aren't even in that game for a minute.

Both suck.

I sincerely hope we can bounce back next season. I hope it’s not a down year - a hangover. It’ll be tough with all the talent we have to try and retain, but hopefully Howie can work some contractual magic. We got some good picks coming up and we’re definitely an organization that players want to play for. We’re gonna be good for awhile. Hopefully good enough to get back to the big game and win it this time.

I wasn't able to be around much during the game, but I know that everyone's pissed, disappointed and all of the other negative emotions that go along this.

Saying 'Well be back next year!' only goes so far, because we all know how hard it is to get to this point. So all we can do is wait, and hope and hope for a better outcome if it happens for us again.

From a message board stand point, I see we nearly doubled our all-time online record, with over 1850 online at one time. I posted a couple of times and saw that things were pretty slow, so I guess that's to be expected.

History tells us one Super Bowl team will bomb next year. That’s likely the Eagles since the NFL has their next golden child picked. Eagles are also about to lose a ton of talent. Add in a tougher schedule and it makes things all the more difficult.

Yup both were terrible. Better prioritize a punter this offseason along with other things.

History tells us one team will bomb. It likely won’t be the hand picked golden child.

Yeah I can’t disagree there.  I hate the close games where there is a bad call or two because it matters more.  The Smith catch being overturned also was a pretty bad ripoff that cost us points

Pass was uncatchable but apparently that doesn’t matter anymore.

Quez was a waste out there yet again. Hopefully they get a better #3 next year.

Right?  Speed means nothing if you can’t catch a well thrown ball

Reid put on a clinic in the 2nd half. We were completely out schemed on defense. Mahomes had it so easy it was pitch and catch all night.

Yup. There’s plenty of fast receivers out there. They better prioritize a #3 receiver this offseason as well.

No surprise there. Reid’s a great coach. Always has been.

No it did not, it had zero impact, they made up for it with the possession they were given, not sure why this is hard to understand

Your argument is flawed. Extra possessions don't subtract 7 points from their score and that's the only way to truly counter that 7 points, which clearly can't happen. The game is decided by total points scored and our QB scored 7 points for the opponent. You can talk around it all you like but he scored for them. Was it the only reason the Eagles lost? No. Was it the greatest reason? Probably not due to the Defensive and ST break downs, but it mattered at the end. All other things being equal 38-35 Chiefs would've been 35-31 Eagles without any one of the 4 disaster plays happening, and his was one of them.

Yeah, this is my issue, the call doesn’t get made and they kick it to go up 3 with 2 minute or a little under that, we get the ball and dont score, im ok with that…but that call gave the game away.

you dont do that as a ref. A questionable call goes uncalled, especially when its not consistent with the rest of the game.

Yep, we would have had time, 1 timeout and a chance to win or tie and I think we would hav at least tied.  Sucks that they call that there and even the announcer felt the same.

It's 💩 like that or the field being slip n' slide, even after being warned by the Chiefs, that makes me think the NFL doesn't care about the quality of the product.

They don’t and why would they? They are still making billions. So why change anything?

Andy is a great coach, however, when he was here he always came up small when it mattered most. Quite frankly I'm shocked we lost this game.

I'm equally as disappointed that the Union, Phillies, and Eagles have all gone to their respective championships in the last 12 months and we couldn't get at least one freakin' championship out of this. Pretty disappointing.

I’m not surprised. Been a fan long enough to know Philly likes to disappoint.

I feel ya. Been a fan myself since 1978. Seen a lot of heartbreak as a Philly sports fan

Yup. I haven’t been a fan as long as you buy long enough to have seen the 2 Super Bowl losses and multiple NFC championship game losses.

The extra possession made up the 7 points ,instead of punting they had the ball which they would not have had, never said the extra possession subtracted points, IT MADE UP THE POINTS THEY LOST!! follow along

Yeah didn’t they score a td right after the fumble?

Yeah, I don't understand his point here.  Say the score is 7-0. His argument is that giving up a pick 6 (making it 7-7) and then the eagles scoring next (14-7) is better than the eagles punting, holding them and then scoring making it 14-0. I don't know what world that would be better in but I'll take a 14 point lead over 7 any day.

Yes that is my point, they scored after the fumble on a possession they would not have had because they would have punted, the fumble and the then the eagles TD negated each other, if KC stopped them on that  possession it is a different story

It’s going to be a long offseason. Way too many question marks. I don’t think they are making it back next year.
