Yes that is my point, they scored after the fumble on a possession they would not have had because they would have punted, the fumble and the then the eagles TD negated each other, if KC stopped them on that  possession it is a different story

Thought so. The truth of the matter is they collapsed in the second half. Chiefs made adjustments and the Eagles didn’t. We all knew coaching would eventually be their downfall.

Stop this revisionist BS! The Fumble gave them 7, and we rattled off 10 straight. And went into half up 10. Hurts tied the game up and kept us in the game the whole time.    Defense gave up 24

Blaming Hurts is just crazy.  Without him, we aren't even in that game for a minute.

It was a long drive too pretty sure which also factored into the chiefs way behind in TOP that half

Yup keep Mahomes off the field. That was a big thing for me. But the d just didn’t do their part. And the refs made several questionable calls again to help them win like they did against Cincinnati.

The extra possession made up the 7 points ,instead of punting they had the ball which they would not have had, never said the extra possession subtracted points, IT MADE UP THE POINTS THEY LOST!! follow along

Imagine if we don't gift them 7 but punt and hold them and then score 7. That extends the lead we had instead of just getting the 7 back we gave up.

It's just insane to me that anyone would still want to hire Gannon at this point.

Lol please Arizona or Houston. If not either he needs to be fired.

I don't think he'll be fired so someone needs to hire him.

Probably not. But if he sticks around he’ll be exposed big time next year when they don’t have all the talent they had this year.

What a total nightmare.  Enjoyed the trip out here, but what a terrible call by the officials.  Just dreadful.  Defense can up really small.

Also, I think the Eagles just let their foot off the gas in the 3rd quarter. Leading by 10 and seeing Mahomes limping in pain, they thought this was over. I wonder how much that played into it. They were playing soft and hoping to run out the clock.

Also maybe the Eagles D did get exposed? I mean this D hasn't really played that great since that loss to the Commanders, it's been getting by due to Hurts carrying this team and getting them big leads. There was a reason Howie had to panic-sign Suh and Joseph, he knew what we had wasn't enough.

I remember when Reid was too reidtarded to make halftime adjustments when he was with Eagles yet can do that with Chiefs just fine. This makes me think if McNabb was held back by Reid. Reid held Foles back. Mahomes is able to mask Reid's flaws. Reid can rot in h*** for all I care!!!!!!!

Yes, our offense helped the D by getting out to big leads and making the opponent have to pass. Now the D does have to make early stops for this to happen and they did. I feel like the D philosophy was don't give up anything big and wait for the opposing offense to screw up.

History tells us one team will bomb. It likely won’t be the hand picked golden child.

Yea. Tough road next year. Just don’t wanna see a complete collapse. And yes, KC and the Sunshine Boy will get all the breaks still.

Gannon cost us. I don't know what he was thinking sticking with the scheme that the Chiefs scored 3 straight TD's on.  Play man, and drop Reddick/Sweat back to spy/bat balls.  The talent is there, but the scheme was awful in the 2nd half.

As I knew Gannon would do...

I've been saying all season that the guy was a liability, his incompetence has been completely overshadowed by talent on D

Not a single Fing sack against Mahommes, let that sink in....zero pressure...zero sacks

I better not see Gannon nor Bradberry on this team next season!!!!!!!!!!! They don't deserve to be on this team!!!!!!!!!

They played the highest % of man that they played all year. 55.6%

Also did it seem the Eagles offense seemed very...vanilla? It's almost like Siriani just assumed since no one has been able to stop the RPO, they can just keep sticking with the same old thing and not change anything.

I mean I'm not blaming the offense or anything. Heck scoring 35 points and winning the TOP by 11 minutes, should be enough to win you almost any game.

I think the only thing I'm having a hard time dealing with is that I thought the game will come down to whether the Eagles can win the TOP and chew up long drives or not. They did exactly that. And it wasn't enough.

In a way I kinda know how 49ers fans felt. They did almost everything right that SB, they ran the ball, they got the lead. But Mahomes still beat them. So they started blaming the blown holding call or some other excuse for the loss.

Too many plays I saw where they're handing a WR off to another DB, only for that DB to be way out of position and it's an easy completion.

Gannon is 100% stunad and has feasted on mediocre QB's

I can only hope another team is stupid enough to hire him, because he's incompetence has been overshadowed by talent on D

He was getting the ball out too quickly. And Gannon couldn't adjust our top QBs to play press. Stupid zone D. Moron went back into his scared little shell bend don't break bc that was constantly being broken.

He coached his way out of a job. And we're probably gonna be stuck with him. Mine/most of our concerns all year.... Hurts and Gannon. Hurts did the work and proved he can be our franchise. Gannon proved he was who we thought he was.

Lol. Definitely want Gannon gone but not JB.

The defense was really exposed Christmas Eve. That game and packers was why I wasn’t high in Gannon.

Didn’t playing man cost them on the two late Chiefs TD’s?
