We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

It’s better that it’s later so the sixers can’t ruin it. I remember kawhi hit that 3 in game 7 vs. sixers. The next day was my birthday and that shot was played all over social media and tv.

I’d like to make a request on the Nasty Nate award going forward: the exact parameters people are looking for that qualify players are so specific that many years there isn’t even a guy that qualifies.

Like Carson Strong last year was a quintessential Nasty Nate candidate, but people here (likely ones no longer here) kept nitpicking every little pedantic detail to disqualify anyone that was nominated.

Their contract is too high, they’re not a Capricorn, they didn’t get X number of snaps in the second away preseason game, they weren’t in the correct position on the unofficial depth chart within a week before being released…

Can it simply be a new, young dude that everyone hypes up all summer, only for him to not even make the 53 man roster?

Nasty Nate is not complicated, it's a player who is a longshot at best being over-hyped by the fanbase.

Strong is the embodiment of the Nasty Nate award

What Nasty Nate has been upto since his playing days:

The chick interviewing him is an 11/10.😜

I thought that was the criteria.

But what to do about a player who makes the roster for just a year and never plays….?  Too good to qualify?

Is Jordan Mailata the most anti-Nasty Nate player?

He was the longest of longshots who was hyped to the moon but turned out to be a f'in beast.

The way it always should have been. And I’d add there shouldn’t be parameters of "well he wasn’t hyped enough”. A movie wins movie of the year every year even if it sucks compared to past winners. Same should be for Nasty Nate.

I think the opposite of a nasty Nate is like Derek Barnett. A player no one seems to like but he just never goes away

Daniel Jeremiah said his favorite Eagles pick was Sydney Brown. Thinks he’s good value and will be a starter in the NFL for a long time. Thinks he’s physical and can cover.

Hey Haole, have some respect for the local Wahine 😉

Just dropped into the Phils in the 8th.  Nice.  This Harper guy is pretty good. 🙃

Not gonna be able to hold back when this guy gets snowed under by NFL defenses:

I’d argue he is he the best athlete in the city

Bogaerts last 15 games

.155, .279 OBP, .241 slugging and .521 OPS with 1 HR and 3 RBIs. Going well for bogaerts.

Can’t be. He doesn’t even have a RAS score!

Lol

We are in a special time as Philly fans.

We have an amazing generational basketball player.  I hope he pushes through.

We have so many great athletes on the Eagles.  Lane Johnson?  Kelce? Our receiving pair?  Our QB1?  Just wow.

Harper is stupidly clutch.  And to be doing what he is doing so soon after being back.

Good times. Good times.

I didn't realize the tear that he is on (probably just a fair weather Phillies fan) but my goodness.

May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'P A2D A2D Radio (NoNotes) @a2dradio UNREAL. Jayson Stark @jaysonst 1h Bryce Harper's 1st game back: 0 for 4,3 strikeouts. Phillies Since then: 3 用明 He's gone to the plate 37 times. He's reached base 18 times. He's hitting 406. He had Tommy John surgery 5 months and 20 days ago. This should not be possible.'

I've gotta admit, I wasn't sure how he would fit in with Philly when they signed him but man, if he isn't one of my favorite Philly athletes now.  If they can win a WS with Harper, he can be an all-timer for us.

I think Michah Parsons would be welcomed the same way.  I don't see any scenario in which Parsons comes here, but it sure as hell seems like he would love to be in Philly.  Can he decline his 5th year so he can be a FA after next year?

it's not just from that perspective.  He looks TINY

Question is how he holds up.
