I want Witt too.

I don't see Day 2 OG or OT.

I see a decent number of day 3 OG and/or OT.

The Eagles don't really have enough picks on day 3.   I see Zavala at 165 in that draft.  Good with that.  Not good with Zavala at 66.  The Eagles could trade down the 66 and pick up a lot of day 3 picks and get Zavala + Witt + other high RAS, maybe raw,  OGs or OTs.

I can't see that round 2 or round 3 guy who is high RAS and I can't see a day 3 guy who has really high RAS who should be over drafted on day 2.  I like Witt, but I don't think he's a day 2 guy.

But there are other 9.something Ras OGs or OTs.

These guys are listed at OTs

Jake Witt - 9.80 Ras high ras and tall and raw and college basketball and college TE as well as OT.  Many here including me like him on day 3.

Trevor Reid Louisville
UDFA    276th

OT
As OG - 9.94 RAS
as OT - 9,61 RAS
6041 - he's a OT,  but 6041 is more Guard height than Tackle
https://ras.football/ras-information/?PlayerID=24907&pos=OG&wu=&ovl=

38 vert is 10 Ras for OT
1004 broad is 9.99 Ras for OT
6041 height is 1.42 Ras for OT and 6.73 as a Guard

ryan swoboda
UDFA    385th
https://ras.football/ras-information/?PlayerID=23330&ovl=Central+Florida

6094 - 30 bench - 1.72 10 split

9.31 Ras as OT

These guys are listed as OG

Anthony Bradford 9.81
Sidy Sow 9.72
Jon Gaines 9.63
Chandler Zavala 9.50

Trade down,  pick up more day 3 picks,  and pick up multiple hi ras OT/OG,  instead of just one today, with a lower ras.

Most of you posts come across as comedy to me, but I really appreciated your post profiling the ex-UGA CB Speed.  He is a player I’d love to see Howie sign as a UDFA.

Speed, Owen Daniels, and Gareth Williams could all get the Noah Elliss roster treatment.

Carter and Smith both look big

Read this and tell me your head doesn't explode.  OK let me get this straight Nike.  You want to streamline uniforms by pointlessly adding a gimmicky 5th jersey that literally no one has asked for.

Nike is suggesting Major League ballclubs limit themselves to four overall uniforms plus one City Connect set.

"Nike is now doing all the jerseys — and one thing I’ll point out about Nike is that they have come to all the clubs and said, ‘We really want to sort of streamline uniforms.’ So there’s a model out there that they want to stick to called ‘four plus one.’” said [Cardinals President Bill] DeWitt III, as transcribed by the St Louis Post Dispatch. "You have four jerseys that you can wear — home, road and two alternates — plus your City Connect when you unveil that.”

Nike are crap.  If it goes outside their template by a small margin or asks them to do too much, they just shrug and complain.  The NFL needs to move away from them and go to a manufacturer that cares a damn about the end product

I hate Gannon because he had good players but his scheme made us frustrated often.

Not once, but TWICE in the SB there was a WIDE OPEN receiver that scored an easy TD.

Hoping Desai is better. The talent is there.

With this D line including veterans Cox, Graham & Reddick plus veteran corners they should be easy to coach.

It is useful to remember that the best Offensive mind in the business was the opponent on those two SB plays.

They need a guy that can play T and G that would be nice. But best player available seems to be working for us so however the chips fall.

That is why I’m all aboard on Tippmann.  Make it happen Howie!

Yeah i saw it the other today. It’s BS. Nike has the resources for Oregon to make 1000 different jerseys. They can do the same. It’s a dope rule they are asking for

Bo, not even remotely funny.

One thing I haven't been able to find is an Eagles rookie camp date.  Are they having one?

Yeah, I like baseball too. But this is NFL draft weekend. No time for that now.

Watching the Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith joint PC. I thought Smith came across really well. Definitely natural leader vibes. Whether accurate or not, I loved the way he defended Carter. It was the question he answered most passionately. Seems like he'll fit in extremely well.

Interesting comment that he hasn't talked to the Eagles DL coach yet.  I have no idea how team visits and interviews go but I would assume they want to talk to coordinators and position coaches no?

They can’t talk w/ coaches until the off season program I believe. CBa stuff. I may be wrong.

I'm coveting Branch right now. He would fit like a glove with the players we added yesterday

Sirianni said he played HORSE with Carter

On ESPN they were showing fans in the crowd they cut to a a few fan groups, then they cut to the Eagles fan group and there's a big "HOWIE SZN" sign.

You know the GM is on fire right now when the first person you think to make a sign about isn't the star QB or star WR or legendary center or defensive player who made the game winning strip sack in SB52. But a sign about the GM. I don't think you'd see that from any other fan base.

Well, weird is funny to many.

And there certainly is a difference of opinion about whether  a LB or DE with RB on their resume,  with a much higher ras than the RBs you can actually draft,  should be used as a RB.  I say yes,  certainly could happen,  others say absolutely not.  Re Nolan Smith, who did crank out a lot of long td runs in high school,  certainly has much better size, speed and everything  else than RBs who are unimportant now.  They're unimportant because the good ones are all moved to LB or DE.  If they stayed at RB and came out of college bigger and faster than Saquon, they'd be drafted high,  used as RB, and be very effective.    You also can't get a 300 pound blocking TE,  unless you're looking at OTs.  I'd want those players.

Trenton Simpson is similar to Nolan Smith.  Nolan has 10 Ras as RB. Trenton has 9.94 Ras as RB  the Eagles could in theory get him today.   But they're not RBs right now, so they're not supposed to be used as RBs, I guess.  The best thing to do is just have inferior RBs because that's what colleges do?  And then say,  why bother getting good RBs,  because the OL is so good,  that any crappy day 3 RB can put up sufficient results.

Day 3,  the Eagles could get Tennessee LB,  who did spend a whole year as a Volunteer Running Back.  Is that enough college to let him be a running back?   His numbers aren't as good as Nolan or Trenton,  but they're better than any big RB.  Jeremy Banks.   8.96 Ras as LB,   232 pounds,  4.53 40.   9.39 Ras as Running Back.  That's not freakbeast numbers,  but big RBs are rare.  Derrick Henry is 247 pounds,  and what do you know,  they build their offense around him, he runs a lot, and they've been a pretty decent team for the last 5 years or whatever.  And now they call 215 pounds "big" and move all the great high school top ras RBs to LB or edge.    Jim Brown would be a LB in the NFL today.

Regarding Speed,  I was playing up the theme of Bulldogs defense,  which certainly seems to be there, and Speed is interesting because tall, heavy and fast, and potential Safety if not CB.  He's day 3 or udfa.  I like that Bulldogs theme.   The Eagles could get Ringo today.
