I don’t think short yardage is actually an issue. Bigger issue is the open field stuff and sitting in the pocket where players are likely to hit the side of his knee or hit him in the head.

The scrum type plays are relatively low impact. More pushing than hitting.

If the Eagles are as good as we think they'll be picking bottom of round 3 next year, so the value isn't terrible. And they might get a 3rd round comp for Hargrave. But still. Next year's draft is probably going to be much better.

I have no problem with trade you like traded pick 90 or so next year for pick 105 this year

OT - Can’t believe there are no hockey, hoops or baseball games on all afternoon. Looks like I’ll be watch a LOTR marathon. 

I may hate it next year, but if there is someone they really like now, then do it. As has been said, we’re likely picking late 3rd anyway.

With regression, ex: first round playoff loss, that could very easily be pick 83. No guarantees of another SB appearance.
If things go off the rails, it's just as easily 70.
