In my mind they Better hit on who they draft here.  Otherwise that's a pick they could have used next year to trade up or trade for a veteran at deadline or in the summer.

They will have at minimum two 2nd’s, a 3rd and four 5ths for trade up ammo next year. But not much for a trade deadline trade.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Go Dawgs

Good value with ringo, now he can learn from our stud corners because his only knock is gambling for picks

Great pick, great trade. Curious to see if they drafted him to play corner or safety. Ringo and Brown would be an interesting tandem at S.

Yup. It’s why i asked how he was announced. If it was corner or safety. Apparently was announced as DB

that’s said with the fact is slay and James Bradberry are both in their 30s. the analytics show it’s less likely corners in their 30s play 500+ snaps. he’s likely going to get a chance to play next year if it’s at corner.

The Eagles are the best team in the league right now. They played well enough to win the SB on the field and the refs took it away (the clear and obvious DeVonta catch, not the grab)

You use a 3rd next year to get a player you think rounds out your secondary and provides key depth (and keeps Zek off the field most of the time)

The trade is a win because an early 4 is worth an early 3 next year but its going to be a late 3.

I don’t think short yardage is actually an issue. Bigger issue is the open field stuff and sitting in the pocket where players are likely to hit the side of his knee or hit him in the head.

The scrum type plays are relatively low impact. More pushing than hitting.

Except when a player like Leighton Vander Esch launches himself headfirst at the QB on a sneak.

Their trade deadline choices have been garbage aside from Ajayi.  I hate those trades unless it's a no brainer.

I'm not really a fan of Ringo, but in the 4th round I don't hate taking a chance. Probably would've preferred Jones but they need a young corner to develop and for depth.

This is the greatest draft I’ve ever watched. Best 1st round ever, we got a classic Stoutland special, we got a legit deep safety, and we still hit a top CB prospect.

Now please get a punter in the 7th

We still have 4 more picks today. Fun, interesting start.

Im not ecstatic with that. Honestly wanted Thompson-Robinson there. But Im excited.

This is a very high upside player at really good value. New DC. Maybe this guy is actually a fit.

It’s Brian Dawgins

Does anyone have that Eagles logo with the Georgia G in it?

LOL, great timing.

Allow me to dream big.  IF Greedy Williams can tap in to his potential and a fresh start gets him to be the player he can be AND Ringo can reach his potential, the Eagles could very well have 2 terrific CB headed in to the future.

The chances of that happening aren't the greatest, but the potential is there.

Kelee Ringo was NOT a reach. Concensus top 75 player. Athlete.

I didn't love him in RDs 1 to 2 because he has some stiffness. (see lack of agility testing)

In OUR scheme, we don't play a lot of man coverage. He'll be able to go N-S a lot. Just like at Georgia, our pass-rush will protect him.

He's outside CB only.

Bob Sanders was exactly who I thought of when seeing his highlights last night. Now hopefully he is not injured as much as Sanders was. Other wise Sanders was a very nice safety

Watched a couple reviews on our picks, Brown has concerns with concussion issues. Likes to lower his head which leads to besides missed tackles but getting his noggin rung

True but a 4th for the gamble let’s see what we can do

Apparently we've entered the NFL's DEI round.

I’m very meh on Ringo but a lot of it is because he was being mocked in the 2nd. A 4th round dart throw is fine.

Tate, Avery and Quinn. Big oofs.

Ringo has flaws but as a 4th rd pick you can hope to develop the raw skills

Extremely physical and strong too. This is what I'm liking about this draft the most. We are adding defensive players that play with mean streaks, very physical, strong and have no fear.
