Off topic, but I do think Goff is a bit of an underrated QB.  He's accurate, smart, reliable.  He has won in the playoffs.  And despite the quirky draft, he's got a pretty good team around him.

In a conference that is embarrassingly bad at QB, Goff is darn close to the top of the list of non-Eagle QBs I'd least want to face in the NFC playoffs.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I'd rather face Goff than Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, or Herbert.

For every Quinn or Tate there is an Ajayi or Joseph/Suh.  50% success rate is worth it for those shots.  Gotta take 'em.

Body catchers with elite speed are perfect in round 6 and 7.  If they figure it out, home run.  If they don't, oh well.  Reno Mahe's can't get taller and faster, but a small percentage of body catchers can learn to catch.

Forgot about Kayshon Boutte, he's still available as well.

Don't forget Avery.

Joseph/Suh were FA add-ons.

So I'd say we are more like 1 for 4 on mid-season trades lately.

Eagles gave up nothing to bring in Joseph/Suh.  Wasting a 4th on Robert Quinn, Golden Tate, Genard Avery is what bothers me.

Bum.  Terrible attitude all year, injuries and an absolute dreadful pre-draft process has made him an UDFA.

Besides Hurts, who in the NFC would you prefer to win a playoff game for you?  I'll give you Dak.

I'm lumping both trades and FA moves mid-season but yeah point taken.  This Swift move is similar though as long as he gets a decent FA deal we'd get the pick back in any case.

Good pick for the Jags with Antonio Johnson at 160

Worth a flyer with 1 of our 7ths.

I think Howie has generally killed it in his offseason veteran trades.

See other reply.  All of these types of move are shots Howie takes that are in a similar category with regard to cap and mid to late level draft assets to grab vets who've moved into the retread/expendable type category.

Best remaining:

LB - Henry To'oTo'o

QB - Jaren Hall

S - Antonio Johnson

IOL - Luke Wypler

OT - Jaelyn Duncan

WR - Kayshon Boutte

Yup.

We all love Boston Scott vs. the Giants, but he's just not as good.

he's got 1st round ras for sure.

downside - never was a Bulldog.

Try also this guy - https://ras.football/ras-information/?PlayerID=23241&ovl=Arkansas

also 4.3,  also 6'3+,  also was a Bulldog.

Wheaton is 220+ also.

the ras website isn't working all that good right now.

Depends on where you face goff tbh.

2022:

home: 23tds, 3 ints, 0 fumbles lost and 109 rating

road: 6 tds, 4 ints, 4 fumbles lost and 87 rating

2021:

home: 13 tds, 3ints, 2fumbles lost and 99 Qb rating

away: 6 tds, 5ints, 4 fumbles lost and 80 rating

In 2022 the lions at home averaged 33.1 ppg. On the road 19.4 ppg. In 2021 was 22.1 at home and 16.4 on the road.

It's not essential, but it would be kind of nice to see a RS here.  Scott and Covey are literally the last 2 skill positions on the roster.

Boston Scott's position is anything but guaranteed.  Swift, Penny, Gainwell should be locks.  With Swift in the mix now, Deuce Vaughn is on my radar.  NOW you can bring in a guy with his skill set to add to this RB room.

Damn it Luter went to SF.  One of my favs

We take 1M in dead money if we cut him. He's our primary kick returner right now too.

Guys, let’s be real. We have NOTHING behind Brown and Smith. God forbid something happens to one of them, we are starting Quez or Zaccheus on the outside. WR should be considered a big need here today. Ford-Wheaton, Demus, Landers…a bigger outside depth WR and also a slot/RS guy for me are still big needs.
