Yup.

We all love Boston Scott vs. the Giants, but he's just not as good.

I'd like healthy running backs in the playoffs.  The Eagles could take one and put them in bubble wrap and open in the playoffs, or maybe keep him there for the Super Bowl.

Watching NFL network, they can't stop geeking about what the Eagles are doing.  "masterclass"

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

We take 1M in dead money if we cut him. He's our primary kick returner right now too.

Do the Eagles care about dead money?

For every Quinn or Tate there is an Ajayi or Joseph/Suh.  50% success rate is worth it for those shots.  Gotta take 'em.

I didn’t say it wasn’t. My point was more towards him saying the pick given was almost nothing. That pick has value if you wanted to make a deadline deal with it like tate or Quinn or ajayi. Now you don’t have it. Add on my point was we’ve had people complain about trades over 4th round picks that didn’t work out so it definitely has value to people on here

More names I liked going in the 5th than in the 4th. And why the hell is this 5th round so damn long. 43 picks. We need this bleeding to stop. Need some good players left for our pick in round 6.

Guys, let’s be real. We have NOTHING behind Brown and Smith. God forbid something happens to one of them, we are starting Quez or Zaccheus on the outside. WR should be considered a big need here today. Ford-Wheaton, Demus, Landers…a bigger outside depth WR and also a slot/RS guy for me are still big needs.

So the question...do you draft one of these fast high upside WRs that really can't contribute or see the field this year, or one of the more polished guys with no upside who will run the right route and catch the ball underneath?

Andrei Iosivas is my guy for our 6th rounder. Will play ST and has the size to play outside.

Yeah, he'll be on the roster and do what he always does.  Nothing more nothing less.  Pretty much nothing the 1st half of the year and then he'll make some plays in the 2nd half particularly against the Giants.  He'll simply be a guy on the roster who you can count on and where you know exactly what you are getting.

Yep, he took the shot now instead of mid-season, agreed.  Could be that he misses having that asset come late October.

maybe take 2 WRs if the players are there.

I dont care about projects like Ford-Wheaton and Iosivas.

I need Hutchinson, Demus or Perry. If you can get 2 of them thats great.

One of each.

Would LOVE Iosivas if he’s still there. I know they brought him in for a local visit. Great athletic profile.

Boston Scott's position is anything but guaranteed.  Swift, Penny, Gainwell should be locks.  With Swift in the mix now, Deuce Vaughn is on my radar.  NOW you can bring in a guy with his skill set to add to this RB room.

Kind of think Scott is a lock at this point. Like another poster said he’s got a guarantee of 1 mil. To cut him saves only 132k and 1.08 mil dead money. I tend to think they also trust him over anyone else they’d get as a 4th back.

NFC playoffs...

Obviously... which was my point about the NFC being down and the Eagles being in Super Bowl or bust mode.

So sad to see Chase Brown go.

And laughing at the NFL for letting him fall to round 5. Ridiculous.

All the good QB prospects are gone.

McKee would have been a good pick 10 years ago...

This is exactly the reason why he will make the roster

I would absolutely take 2. A combo of Iosivas and Demus. Elijah Higgins still out there too. Matt Landers is another nice project guy. AT Perry as well is a nice choice or Xavier Hutchinson.

Ivan Pace Jr makes sense

If anything happens to our top WRs a 6th round pick doesn’t solve it, we’d have to go shopping at the trade deadline.

Todd Centio is Jalen Hurts physical clone.
