If anything happens to our top WRs a 6th round pick doesn’t solve it, we’d have to go shopping at the trade deadline.

Yeah....true for just about every team

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Id take Hutchinson or Hodges-Tomlinson (get a legit backup Nickel so we arent so hurting when Maddox is out). Cross train him at safety. First player off the bench for any secondary position.

Hutchinson would be deadly out of the slot with potential to play outside in case of injury.

Henry To'oTo'o off the board is good news. He stinks.

Boutte!

I’m saying even if only for a game or two. I’d much rather rely on a drafted rookie than the plethora of practice squad crap or Quez.

Best remaining:

LB - Henry To'oTo'o

DE - Andre Carter II

QB - Jaren Hall

S - Antonio Johnson

IOL - Luke Wypler

OT - Jaelyn Duncan

WR - Kayshon Boutte

He's a Mychal Kendricks clone.  No way is he an edge though.  He fills gaps, goes sideline to sideline and can rush the passer from all over. To'oto'O just went followed by Owen Papppoe so we might see a mini run on LBs making all of this a non issue unfortunately.

Want no parts of Boutte. Perry, Hutchinson, Ford-Wheaton, Iosivas.

So the question...do you draft one of these fast high upside WRs that really can't contribute or see the field this year, or one of the more polished guys with no upside who will run the right route and catch the ball underneath?

high upside guys.

We see Greg Ward practicing hard with Jalen, right?  In case of injury, he's there.  Maybe he's on practice squad, but he's there.

Besides Hurts, who in the NFC would you prefer to win a playoff game for you?  I'll give you Dak.

I wouldn't have issue playing any NFC QB in a playoff game.  Dak is the one that I probably wouldn't like to face because he has always had his way with our defense.

But I was pointing out in your post how you said Goff is smart.  You can say a lot of things about Goff but smart is not one of them.  The guy thought the sun rises in the west and sets in the east.  He put up one of the worst performances in the Super Bowl that I've seen and it was in large part because BB was able to expose just how not smart Goff really was by switching up the defense after 15 seconds when the headset communication would cut off between McVay and Goff leaving Goff completely dumbfounded at what to do without McVay in his hear telling him.

That's sad.

He was 6th in the league for average KR yards with min 10 attempts (he had 15).

There will also be pre-season cuts where a lot of talent becomes available.

Still makes me sad.

Any good punters available?

You've always disliked him.  He's no great RB or KR but...

Forgot about Kayshon Boutte, he's still available as well.

Looking at his highlight video’s I was impressed, great YAC like a ringer. Whatever Howie thinks

I actually dont hate that idea

Thought Witt would be off the board by RD5 due to measurables, but he can't play at all in 2023.

Michael Turk from Oklahoma.

It's not essential, but it would be kind of nice to see a RS here.  Scott and Covey are literally the last 2 skill positions on the roster.

I don’t mind Covey, average returner with very sure hands. Think he was like 8th in the league in PR ypr, a little under 9.5 per

I finally listened to the Day 2 presser with Nick and Howie.  Nick mentioned it’s too early to say if Steen is in the competition for RG this season; Howie did say they saw him at the Senior Bowl getting guard reps and were very impressed.

Realizing transitioning him to guard is the likely scenario long term, I still wonder if he’s more valuable for 2023 as the Eagles swing tackle.  He has quite a lot of game experience at both LT and RT.

You serious? Joseph was great last year. Suh solid. Ajayi was awesome. Tate only mediocre. He hits at least 50% and they’ve been very important hits in the SB runs to fill in when holes open up.

Those DTs were free agents

If I say any more on the topic, it might be viewed as criticism of someone.  🤐
