Tanner McKee is kind of a good prospect.

10 years ago? Sure

Now he's just a sitting statue in the pocket.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Howie gonna Howie

Howie has been really active this draft

Wait do we get to pick Mr. Irrelevant this year?  That’s awesome.

6th rd QB. Probably won't be anything but complaining about a 6th rd pick is crazy

People just wanted someone who had a chance to make an impact somewhere on the field.

They turned 2 7ths into a 5th next year.

that works for JJ values,    this years 7 = next years 6th.  2 6ths = 1 5th approx.

But that's 2 less players I was expecting, and I don't really care about this Stanford QB, really.

So get Jake Witt.

UDFAs to call?

Howie magic turned 2 late 7's into a 2024 5.  You shouldn't be able to do that

That could be a high 5th rounder too.  TB was 8-9 last year and go from Tom Brady at QB to Baker Mayfield.

no

I'd take Anthony Richardson

To play what position?

1 year ago when I thought we’d need a web from this draft, McKee was on my list.

Punter just went

The way I look at it is we got Swift for 2x7s and trading a 4th in 2025 for a 5th in 2024

Mariota*

Nope, Mariota gets traded to a team who loses their starting QB for the year for a 2nd round pick.  McKee then steps in to QB2 and Ian Book is back.

I used to do stuff like this in madden. Keep making picks into future picks in higher round until i got that pick high enough after a couple years then use it to trade and get a good player from another team.

Tanner McKee is David Mills.

Well. I must admit. I thought it would have been a boring draft. Glad I was wrong

Very good prospect. Fell because he's still inexperienced, in part because he got cancer as a teenager.

I don't understand the dislike for the pick.

So we gave two 7th's to get a 6th, then traded a 6th to get a 5th next year?  I'm ok with that.

Yeah it’s good value.

3 picks in the 7th,  I'd like Witt.  I see no reason why we can't get him.  I think they should use the next pick on him, because enough people are worried we won't get him.

Kind of behind the times…all we have left is 249.

Is that Davis’ brother?

No Punter worth taking

OK.  Eagles pick turned to a punter :meh: for Pats

It’s gonna be an early 2024 5th too, which is basically the equivalent of a late 2025 4th. So basically we traded two 7ths for swift.

PFF loved McKee - had him as the 81st ranked player:

Quote

McKee is already well equipped to operate an NFL offense given what he was asked to do at Stanford. He's one of the most accurate quarterbacks in the class, and he pairs that ability with lightning-quick processing. McKee's career time to throw at Stanford was a swift 2.49 seconds.

And the rams have it after making a trade

I guess people were expecting an all-pro with a 6th round pick.
