We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I wonder if they see him as an AJ Brown lite.

Eagles traded pick #191 to Tampa Bay for a 2024 5th round pick.

HOWIE SEASON

So, he flipped two 7ths this year into a 5th for next year?

And that replaces the 5th that they sent to the Cardinals in the tampering thing that flipped 3rd round picks with the Cards??

Him or Haselwod could make the team as Pascal's replacement

Reid really sounds like the clay we were looking for to give to Stout. Takes Sills spot as the always inactive OL on the roster.   At be the best UDFA signing.

Doing some overthinking here but does anyone think with Penny and Swift having natural grass as their home field now that it could have a positive effect with them staying healthy.

That certainly should help. Plus we have a player first coach that gives guys adequate rest.

With our pass rush, I'd like to see us play more press in 2023. That was a little bit of a puzzler to me last year.

OK, now the numbers guessing game starts:

Jalen Carter- 93, considered 98 but if Williams switches to 97, I think 93 is a good fit.

Nolan Smith- 56, initially thought 0 until the Swift trade.  56 is a perfect number for him

Tyler Steen- 72, eh not too many great OL numbers.  72 is solid G/T number.

Sydney Brown- 30, stays in college number, unless Justin Evans takes 30.  Then maybe he takes 3.

Kelee Ringo- 23, considered 3 but I think he starts in a traditional number.

Tanner McKee- 13, not many numbers available for QB.

Moro Ojomo- 98, his college number.

Changes

Milton Williams- 97, his college number.

Hasson Reddick- 0, becomes the first 0 so Swift can have 7

D'Andre Swift- 7, his college number since 32 is taken.

Again, better to bring in guys with the athletic tools to be great if you can coach them up than to bring in guys with mental traits who will never have the physical qualities necessary.

Mojo is going to be good for the D-Line room and Carter, he seems like a very mature 21 year old.

For the next couple of years, keeping Carter on the straight and narrow is one of the main priorities for this organization.

If we maximize his talent, we have an all-timer on our hands.

Yeah maybe.  I just wanted to make the play on words.

Just a hunch, but I think we’ll see Cox and Williams starting at DT with Davis and Carter frequently rotating in together.  Cox is a franchise icon and Williams earned it last year.

Cox and Davis will start the season. When Fletcher wear out in November it will be Davis and Carter with Cox and Williams rotating in.

How do you know he was alluding to diversity?  Maybe he’s put down about 12 shots and he’s suggesting something filthy.

Thats the way I took it.

This might be the most uninformed I've been in years IRT the draft, but there might have been 5 draftable LB's at best in this draft.

there were a lot of fast, high ras lbs in this draft.  there will be udfa lbs with great numbers for 5 years ago.   lbs would often have 4.6 40s,  now there are udfas with 4.45 40s. they could all suck.  Maybe taking high ras high school running backs and turning them into LBs doesn't work great in all cases.   I would think that rb in hs to lb in college to not quite good enough for the NFL should lead to a path to getting 230 pound rbs who run 4.45 40s again.

I was just going "where did that guy end up"?   Turns out it was the Eagles who signed Ben VanSumeren udfa. excellent.  If he's not good enough to play LB,  they could try him on offense.   and special teams.

He's a udfa, not a first round pick,  so if you used him on offense it wouldn't deplete a known resource elsewhere.  Now I'm going to find video.  here it is, starts with a TD run for Michigan.

lots and lots of video of VanSumeren mostly catching, some running, even passing in high school as well as mlb.

Just getting back from a gig playing to a plethora of drunk divorcees.

I'm posting so obviously didn't get lucky tonight.

Checking the UDFA list for the first time. Thrilled to get Haselwood, Ricks, and Garner.

Between Jobe, Goodrich, Ricks, and Garner, one of those will be a future impact player.

Haselwood is Pascal 2.0. Helluva blocker.

Eagles drafted a lot of guided missiles this draft, given they kept the ST coach, tells me they think they didn't give him enough talent last year.

Van Sumeran, Ringo, Brown can run, add in Kyron Johnson, Smith, and it could be a track meet to the ball carrier.

Devon Allen … fastest of them all
