Don’t forget Calvin Ridley trade. His nfl investigation comes down 1 month later and we just traded for a guy who misses the whole season, and no AJ brown

It really shows how much luck is involved. How would we look at Howie if Robinson signed here and we use that first-round pick on Trent McDuffie instead of AJ Brown?

I saw a weather report that said most of California could get snow, and I thought they'd have to shut the state down as no one California would know what to do...

Having said that did see pics of Tahoe, it's the most snow they've gotten in decades.

Just wanted to know if places like Sac actually got any snow, when I saw the report I thought they probably won't get any but if say LA got some snow that would be something...

One looks bad (Robinson), while the other looks good (McDuffie).

This is why I agree with Howie's approach on "bets" and "range of outcomes". You'll win more than you lose.

He won’t last until Pick #30.  He would be fabulous, but Howie won’t see him as the BPA at #10.  If he is still on the Board at $30 we should seriously consider him, but again I don’t think Howie will do so.  Too many other needs.

It has it's cheesy, predictable moments but IMO, one of the best, if not the best football movie made.  The soundtrack by Explosions in the Sky really helps bring the emotion of the game and maybe never playing again to life.  You can also watch it now and it doesn't feel too dated. 

Rudy and Remember the Titans are up there with it but knowing how fabricated for Hollywood Rudy was kind of takes some of the greatness away from it.

I LOVE The Program but boy, you watch that now and you just know it's a 90s movie and it's BEYOND cheesy.  The football scenes with Lattimer, Mack and Jefferson talking while they are playing are terrible.  But it's a classic and I'll always love it.

Varsity Blues is always going to be a favorite just because it came out my senior year and well we all loved it...plus whipped cream bikini.

Underrated football movie....The Combacks.  Great spoof on all football movies.  David Koechner plays some really great characters in the movies he does.

Also, embarrassed to admit, I've never watched Any Given Sunday.  I need to sit down and watch one of these days. 

I know, lots more out there...The Replacements, All The Right Moves, Neccessary Roughness, The Waterboy, Invincible, We Are Marshall etc.

McDuffle/Karlaftis instead of trading up for Davis look like better options at this point.  I know that's not the point you're making and we aren't allowed to criticize Davis yet because he was a rookie and got hurt yada yada yada.

Sanders has no instincts (yet). He's going to make a ton of mistakes in years 1 & 2. 

IMO, Sanders needs to be on a rebuilding team that doesn't need to win because you're hoping he "hits" by the time you're ready to compete.

It was a reflection of the tone of RTK’s post of the Dawkins picture.  Also he was one of the noteworthy Eagles when I went to my first Eagles game.  Also the first time I saw Jim Brown in action.

Wouldn't that make sense with how the Eagles use their draft picks though?  The Ealges love drafting and sitting their top picks.  I'd venture out there to say the Eagles get less return on their draft picks in year 1 than any other team in the NFL.  I know the draft isn't about year 1 but it does get a little frustrating when their 1st-3rd round picks don't play.

They have done this for sure (Dillard, Hurts, Jurgens).

We just have so many open holes on defense right now, and the draft is strong at positions where rookies can start, that I think it's bad resources. We're not going to be as deep as last year.

In 2023, we could start a new RB, RG, CB2, MLB, DT1, WLB, S.
Any of those 1st rounders would start.
