We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

NIL has made those "love of football" questions easier to answer. Carter is already a millionaire, yet he played like a star at Georgia. If he had alienated his teammates with his practice habits, I doubt they would be going out of their way to vouch for him now.

There's a really high probability that this guy is a juggernaut, guys.

Tua's situation is very interesting to me. He's trending upward but he's also likely 1 more concussion away from forced retirement

What I really need to see is Jordan Davis dominate

Or play to his strengths so that the other 3 Dawgs close to the line dominate which was his role at Georgia.

Believe there was a report he considered retiring last year after the he returned from the hit and concussion in Cincinnati

I tend to think Carter probably doesn’t love practicing but you know gameday he’s gonna bring it and be there. There’s plenty of guys in the nfl and even other sports who hate practicing but when the lights come on they show up. I’m guessing it’s not much different with him.

I saw that as well. He's definitely risking life

I also think he was able to dominate in college without utilizing all of his potential. In the NFL, he won't be able to win based solely on superior talent. He does seem to enjoy winning on gameday -- in college, he could do that without practicing hard. Hopefully his GA teammates and our vets can show him he needs to do more against increased competition.

Looking at the schedule post FA and Draft.

Home: Dal, NYG, Was, Ari, Min, SF, Buf, Mia

Road: Dal, NYG, Was, LAR, Sea, TB, NE, NYJ, KC

I see eight very tricky games.  Half are at home, however.  The travel sequence to Dallas, KC, LA, and Seattle will matter as well.

I feel like having fletcher and graham here this upcoming year helps. Both have had long and great careers. I think you hope they can take him under their wing and rub off on him.

I went to a Chargers game at SoFi last year, and the place is insane. Might have to fly dad out for the Rams' game.

Can easily go 10-7 given some of those games.

With this roster, we don't need the #1 seed to get to the SB. Just get in and we can go on a run.

Division: 5-1

AFC East: 2-2

NFC West: 3-1

Beat Minny and TB, lose to KC.

12-5

I disagree. I think they were thrilled someone they had so highly ranked to still be available. Behind Carter, Davis, Williams, and Cox you have...Marlon? Street? I don't see any of them having the potential and versatility Moro brings. They will definitely keep 5. Noah Elliss may have that slot as a backup to Davis as NT, but if they do decide to not keep a 2nd NT on the active roster I don't find it farfetched at all that Moro can beat out the rest of them.

They took Davis with pick 13 last year.  He was a historically great athlete.  They had him learn one position on the defensive line.  I can't see how they would want a rookie to learn more than one.  They may try him in different roles but my guess is he will play as a DT.  I don't know whether Desai will run the same front 7 looks that Gannon ran but I assume their 5 man fronts will look similar.   The DT position along those fronts can be a multitude of techniques aside from the NT.  They have the DT's playing 2i, 3, 4, 4i, and probably 5 techniques.  That's a lot to learn as a rookie and probably part of the reason Davis stayed at NT.

I don't think it's impossible that he makes the roster but it is going to be a long shot and likely mean there was an injury to a player.     Marlon and Ellis are competing for a different spot than Moro.  Moro isn't a NT.  They need to keep a back up NT.   Moro isn't really competing against Street for a spot.   The opening day roster had 5 DTs: Cox, Hargrave, Davis, Williams and Marlon.  If they keep 5 again 4 seem to be set in stone: Davis, Carter, Cox, and Williams.  They aren't going to to keep Moro over Williams.  Now they finished the season with 6 DTs on the roster for the Super Bowl.  I don't think that's what they will look to do.  I think that's the only way he makes the roster is if he beats out Street and they keep 6.

I also think that practice isn't going to be as physcially demanding for him as it was in college.  His real challenge is probably going to be getting in shape and adding strength to be ready to play.
