Am I the only one that wants to see double 0? Is 00 available or is it only 0?

Just 0. They said they might propose 00 next year or down the line.

Obviously

Smith is going to be good

I've got no problem with it, but for me, it needs to be done exceedingly sparingly.   It is done far too much.

Eagles retired numbers should be:  15, 20, 60 and 92.   That's it.  It has to be a Hall of Fame level player, and have something on the resume of league significance.

Van Buren was the first RB ever to have multiple 1000 yard rushing seasons and retired as the all time leading rusher.  (He also led the team to back to back championships.)

Dawkins revolutionized the safety position.

Bednarik was the last of the 60 minute men.

White was the greatest DL of all-time, and the all-time sack leader.  (Bruce Smith's "record" is a sham.)

White was a Packer.  Sacrilege?  Blame on Tose?  Glad he was here when he was.  There should be no retired numbers. Zero.  Period of honor? Maybe.  Having to earn it?  I like that but Nike et al would never go for the  number changes due to inventory.  Team HOF, yes.  Ring of Honor for elite players, yes.

White was an Eagle.   White played for the Packers.  Big difference.  Blame on Braman.  Braman is likely the single worst owner in Philadelphia sports history.

Nolan Smith chose #3

Jalen Carter 98

Nolan Smith 3

Sydney Brown 43

Ringo 37

Well boys.  Steen in 56 doesn't make me happy.

Smith in 3.

Awesome. Now debut the Kelly Greens so I can make a purchase.

Our rookie DBs are aware that they’re allowed to pick good numbers, right?

Ringo absolutely changing numbers in 2024.

Nolan Smith at 3 works well.

37 isn't too bad, but 43 is awful. Sydney Brown bust confirmed.

37 is Lester Hayes, iconic NFL DB number

Nice to have Carter get that loser stink off of 98.

I'll now have Smith 6 and Smith 3.

My guess is Ringo won't be 37 this year.  For the role Chachere has on this team, he has a prime DB number.  I'm a fan of his ST contributions but there's no way a PS player who might get called up twice during the season should be wearing 21.

Okorafor was originally reported as an invite so maybe another team offered a deal and Eagles upped ante

Clay for Stout to evaluate and see how easy to mold, just like Reid.  Likely one ends up on the PS.  The majority of OL signed this offseason (futures, draft choices and UDFAs) have T  experience.

No way Ringo stays at 37. I'd say Carter and Smith will stick with theirs.

Do you have a Bryan or LJ Smith jersey?

Dang, I was JUST thinking about that and even went so far as to do a Wikipedia dive into Jim Otto, who wore that number for the Oakland Raiders while playing center back in the sixties and seventies when I was a kid.

"Butterfingers” Ken Burrough forever made me wary of 00.

Unfortunately no. I think I'll move onto collecting Browns next.

Listening to the Nolan Smith and Sydney Brown interviews, you can tell why the Eagles loved them. Such impressive people.

I know some of y'all will be able to sleep more soundly now that the most important part of the offseason is over.
