That’s a tough one to answer, when was the last time a superstar demanded out on a team as good as this one, other than Kyrie’s dumb ass? When Harden left the Rockets, they were in major decline. When Kawhi left the Spurs they were barely making the playoffs. KD and Lebron left various teams as FA’s. The Nets never worked out. I don’t think Embiid is the type to set that precedent: they’re 8 quarters and an overtime away from the ECF

The Sixers have nothing in the pipeline and only young "star” is Maxey. Harden will leave and Embiid will either leave or succumb to injuries. Sixers are a team in decline.

Kyrie - He's a whackjob and him and Harden are a no-no.

Anthony Davis -  One injury prone superstar for another.

Paul George - Another injury prone player whose less of a player.

KAT? He's a definitive downgrade but is not as injury prone.

Basketball endings have got to be the most stressful thing in any sport ever. 

The NBA is a weird sport.  The flopping is way worse than football is, and the players are bigger.  The officiating is no better

Winning one trade? Sixers would’ve been better off taking the Kings offer instead but he just had to have his guy from H-town. He won by just getting rid of Simmons, not obtaining Harden.

if it’s a situation where Embiid wants out, you’d have to take 50 cents on the dollar. Maybe 2-3 of the best Kings to pair with Harden, or You might be able to get some major future jazz assets.

KAT is definitely a no go. Gobert’s value is at an alltime low after they just traded 5 1sts for him; Minny then would have 2 mega contracts that can’t play anywhere but directly under the basket

Officiating is so much worse. Half the time I have no idea why they are even calling a foul, the other half I have no idea why they aren’t. 

Case in point, the Embiid foul towards the end. Watching live I thought "that’s traveling”, then it was "oh it’s a defensive foul” to "nvm he got called for charging.”

He's been great in the 4th all year.  No surprise he was gassed in the 4th tonight hitting the 40 minute mark in the 4th after over a week off with a grade 2 lcl sprain.
