I’m hoping they close this out on Thursday but doc’s record when being up in a series over the last decade is worrisome. They need to finish it off Thursday. Boston is gonna come with their best shot with their season on the line. It’s going to be an all out battle out there.

Yep. If they lose Thursday they lose the series.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

That far into the season, they’ll bound to have an injury on either side of the starting lineup. So they’ll already have their excuse for getting waxed again.

For San Fran's sake, they should think about having a QB this time.

They had 2.

The Eagles broke them by being a far superior defense.

Eagles/Niners and Eagles/Chiefs are not week 1 Thursday night. Chiefs/Bengals are not opening night either.

So I guess it's likely to be Chiefs/Bills then?

Only a churl would point out that they've won two of three in Boston.

Ditto. It's recency bias, but I hate them more than even our divisional opponents at the moment. I've never seen a bigger bunch of crybabies in football...players and fans.

That's my bet.

I think it would be silly for them to put a big marquee game Week 1. It's the first game of the season and going to be a ratings juggernaut regardless of whose playing. I think it would make sense to do Chiefs vs AFCW and save Chiefs/Bills for later. Chiefs/Broncos would work just fine. There would be enough intrigue with Payton coming back to pull big ratings for a crappy game.

I'd like to see Lions vs Chiefs... That would be fun first game to watch

I wouldn't be surprised if someone on San Fran didn't try to injure Hurts.

Deebo runs onto the field to hit him after the play.

The opening Thursday game is usually a big matchup though. I think it's going to be either Chiefs/Bills or it could be something like Cowboys/Bills. The NFL loves the Cowboys in prime time.

The ghost of Joe Montana will be starting with 65 year old Steve Young as the back up.

Boo Hoo!

The '85 Bears would have lost 3 or more times if those 5 QBs they destroyed had just stayed healthy!

It would be like that Rams Chiefs game 54-51

Only a jabroni would over look the choke potential this team has in the 2nd round and how much Doc can suck as a coach. You act like it's a done deal. Far from it based on what they have shown us the last four years. IF they lose the next one I don't have confidence in them winning a game 7.

I'm pretty sure you will heal them cry about 20 times more before the game is played.

I think the entire NFCE benefited last season from a weak schedule; playing the AFC South and NFC North made for a lot of easy games.  I predict the division will take a 1-2 game hit this season with the AFC East and NFC West opponents lined up.

The Giants will need to improve just to have a winning record this season.  Currently I see the division as Eagles 13-4, Turds 11-6, Giants 8-9 and Commanders 6-11 (perhaps 5 wins or less if Howell is actually their starting QB)

I think Washington has been a bit undersold lately with what they’ve been doing. In 2021 they had a first place schedule and went 7-10. In 2022 they had major QB issues and still went 8-8-1, nearly making the playoffs. Any QB consistency at all and they could be a decent team. New ownership may give them a chemistry boost as well

Oh my lord that should be a fun matchup.  I expect a full on field brawl if (and when) the whiners lose.

Your 'genius' coach has a scheme that has resulted in major injuries to RG3, Jimmy G, Trey Lance, and now Brock Purdy and clearly that's the Eagles / NFL's fault?  Go away.

Idk. The Desaun Watson story was pretty feel good.

It won't be Cowboys/Bills.  Opening game is always the defending Super Bowl champ to open the season.  It'll be someone who the Chiefs are scheduled to play at home this season.

I’d rather Sermon Claus than Scott Claus.  If there’s a stat more blown out of proportion it’s Boston Scott vs the Giants.
