Looking at the schedule I see 16 normal wins...

and a 17th win where SF sinks into the bay from all the tears.

Meh... the schedule never ends up working out like it looks when it first comes out.

It was cool having momentum for like 10 seconds

It’s honestly carboncopy of game 3 so far. This is what happens when you decide to no show to start the game. Boston is too good of a team to let them have a 10 point lead within 4 mins and give them confidence.

Going in down 7 is palatable

Sixers are super fortunate this is only a 7 point game right now.

Jayson Tatum looks like when the aliens took the nba players talent away in space jam lol

Only in comparison to what it has been and what it could be.   So far... this game is an embarrassment.

Is there any light at the end of the tunnel for this Sixers team if they blow this? Or is it going to all fall apart with little to no draft capital and talent in the pipeline?

House of cards.   It either stands this post season, or it all crumbles quickly.

The Eagles have the hardest schedule in the NFL, mathematically, but it has some silver linings.

1. The playoffs will NOT catch them off guard.  The bright lights, top D's, top QB's and top O's...all nothing they haven't seen before.  They would have to march all the way to the SB before facing a team as good as what they'll see x2 in the regular season.

2. The middle of the schedule is where EVERY SINGLE brutal matchup lies.  They should be able to run up a very, very good record early to get some momentum.  They'll get tagged with some tough L's in the middle of the year, and then it eases up again to end with momentum.

The one sneaky bad thing:

SB hangover.  The difficulty distribution of the schedule demands that they inflate a great record early.  SB loser hangovers are real.  If they have a rough start to the season and wait to get it going, they could end up in a big hole after a slow start is combined with that murderer's row in the middle of the schedule.

I just got home. Havent seen any of the obviously ugly game so far. Point total is pathetic. But I feel good about the 2nd half. Im here now. We will all be fine.

I guess I will be driving down to LA for the Rams game in early October.

Even if they lose the series, the Sixers obviously gave the Celtics all they can handle.  And this might be the best Sixers team we've seen in the playoffs (of the process generation).  So good for them.

BUT...the end result is the end result...another failure to escape the 2nd round.  That is crushing.  They'd be going into next year with lower expectations than the last 2-3 years as well.  So that puts a strain on a franchise, the team, the coach, the franchise player, etc.

Beating Boston and losing to Miami in a hangover series...hard to look at that any more favorably.

Getting to the finals and losing...sucks, but a championship loss can only generate so much criticism.  0-3 in finals in one calendar year sure would be rough on the city.

If Embiid cant handle Horfords D, get him the ball IN the low post, or get him out and play an athletic brand of ball with transition and ball movement. One or the other. We cant watch these embiid mid range ISO turnovers the whole 2nd half.

It’s mostly a hunch but I’m not seeing a Super Bowl hangover with this team. I definitely saw it in 05 and 18, but not with this team. Graham and Cox know it’s their last hurrah especially since their replacements were just drafted. Same with Kelce, most likely.

We’ll see though. An injury here and there could change that quickly

Careful now. Don’t wanna get called out for being a whiny, miserable fan.

That case is out of Delaware.  It doesn't have any precedential value for a case in Georgia. I would imagine Georgie does have a similar negligence theory.  I think the other big difference is that victim was also a passenger in a car involved in the race.  To the extent he encouraged the driver of his care to engage in the race, Carter would likely have a contributory negligence defense.  I think Ga is 51/49 comparative meaning the passenger would have to be found less at fault for the accident.  My guess is that there will be some sort of settlement.

There you have it. Similar conclusions from both sides of the bar.

Really sad. this game is identical to game 3. Sixers look awful to start. Boston takes advantage and gets up 10 within the first 4 mins. Sixers make a run to get it close by the end of the first. Rest of the game Boston keeps sixers around 4-14 points.

Helluva block by Embiid.

Gotta respect how Embiid completely disregards his body

Hes getting demolished by the boston D, but at least he is having an impact on the other end. We can win if thats all he does. Just have to stick with Harden and Maxey. Thats working right now. Ride it while its hot.
