Probably discussed but just now saw the schedule after work…7 straight games vs last year’s playoff teams starting in week 9.

Happy about the bye before heading to KC… that’s about the only thing I like about the schedule, but bring it on…we all knew this season would be harder

You missed the part we were like 1-12 with PJ Tucker making the only shot and being down by 16

I honestly can handle losing. Heck i watched the Super Bowl again later that night to see what happened more closely. I hate losing. But if the Sixers wind up losing this game is because the first five minutes of that game, they didn’t Fing show up. To me it is inexcusable to not show up at the start of a game that you know is a massive game. I can handle Boston just being better or a team being better. But when it’s just a lack of focus and energy coming into the game that irritates me. 

my biggest concern right now is if Boston has another gear for the fourth quarter meanwhile the Sixers spent so much energy to get back from being down 16 points that they can’t finish this off

Different Sixers team in the 3rd quarter than started the game.   I was just hoping they'd chip that lead down by the end of the 3rd.  To be up 2... that's gravy...and they start with the ball IIRC.  Gotta play tight D, and ride the hot hands offensively and keep up the ball movement.   But the difference was the defense that quarter.  They tightened it up and it led to points.

Philly won that quarter 30-21.

Bostons biggest quarter was 29 points in the 1st. Theyve only scored 21 in the last two quarters.

Another 30 point quarter from Philly probably does it. But Id take 35 for good measure.

They started the game, almost like they expected the Celtics to just hand the game to them.  Tucker hit the 3 to tie the game, and they assumed that was enough to let the Celtics know that the series was over.   It clearly wasn't.

Like i said i can handle losing. I can’t handle losing when you just don’t play with energy and show up. That to me is inexcusible especially in big games. I hate the fact that the Eagles lost but I can at least respect and they have nothing to be ashamed of by the fact that he left it all out on the field even if their defense didn’t look great.

Which to me is a problem. You should mentally go into that game expecting Boston’s best shot and you’re going to have to punch them in the mouth. it’s gonna be a drag them out battle to win it. And they came out like boston just gotta hand it to them. Those five minutes to start the game might be the difference when all is said and done.
