We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Tomorrow's going to be the day they announce the new DC. Just a hunch.

Who’s the favorite? I’ve been avoiding sports TV

DT prospects that have my interest in the mid rounds:

Mazi Smith

Byron Young

Keeanu Benton

Colby Wooden

Unless something unforeseen happens the Eagles coordinators will be less experienced than Gannon and Steichen were when Nick took over.  That might be a concern

Probably Dennard Wilson at this point.

Not sure there is one, but probably Wilson.

Not criticizing your picks but how can they give your first pick (10 overall) a C+ but then grade the whole draft an A?

If GB offered us 15 and 45 for ten would you take it?

depends on who is available obviously

Agreed

I could make the argument that it's probably Wilson because no decision has been public or I could argue that interviewing guys this weekend (supposedly) is a bad sign for him. Too much time to run too many scenarios and not enough of interest going on otherwise

In my most recent mock that was what I was offered and I took it.  Broderick Jones was still on the Board at 10 and I took the risk.  He was taken before 15 and I ended up with Calijah Kancey.  They only graded the trade as a B.

I think so, we are missing a bunch of picks this year and there's a decent amount of areas that could use younger players and upgrades.

Is acknowledging that you think first and foremost and almost exclusively from an Eagles perspective an "insult”?

Using the line "which makes reading the article I linked difficult for him” is the insult.

I can read the article just fine. You had suggested the Eagles should be credited for selecting Poyer, because he’s a success in the league as per the metrics of your article.

He was a wasted pick for the Eagles, spin your gears however you want, that’s a fact.

Might be, but with Nick as the HC I’m not too concerned.

As much as i covet Wilson, i think we need a corner more there. Should be some edges around at 30

No I NEVER suggested the Eagles should be credited.  I said he was a successful round 7 pick in the article’s formula.  I even acknowledged that many posters here in the Blog have a standard that if a player leaves the team after his rookie contract he is a failed pick by the Eagles.

That is your all Eagles all the time perspective reading/seeing concepts that are not present in what has been said.

Because it’s PFF.

Where everything is made up and the points don’t matter.

Here’s a simple question for you.  You are at Las Vegas and you are looking at a bet that has 1:6 odds.  You make the bet four times and lose and then make the bet the fifth time and win.  We’re the first four bets "wasted”?

Yes

The only realistic player available who would make me think twice is Witherspoon. Basically unless Witherspoon, Carter or Anderson are available I’m taking that deal all day long.

Tough choice. 15, 30, 45, 62, 94. Would have a good shot at 5 starters there.

I usually prioritize getting the highest graded guy in round 1 though, and I don't see 15 true 1st rounders this year. I'd probably stay at 10.

Could we go Witherspoon in the First and Banks in the Second?
