They must breed them different in Arizona

Don’t worry they’ll be cheering for the cowboys (most cardinals fans second team) once they realize how bad they are gonna be this year.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Tough choice. 15, 30, 45, 62, 94. Would have a good shot at 5 starters there.

I usually prioritize getting the highest graded guy in round 1 though, and I don't see 15 true 1st rounders this year. I'd probably stay at 10.

The issue I see is that unless Witherspoon somehow falls to 10, there isn’t likely to be a big difference between the guy you take at 10 vs 15.

Think about it this way…

Tier 1 we have no shot of getting without a major injury or off field issue:

Young

Levis

Anderson

Carter

Tier 2 is a remote possibility but realistically isn’t happening:

Witherspoon

Wilson

Stroud

Then we get stuck in tier 3 where a lot of players are going to have similar grades and/or be scheme specific:

Gonzalez

Murphy

Paris Johnson

Skoronski

Broderick Jones

Bresee

Branch

Jonhston

Van Ness

So then you have to ask yourself is your top rated guy from this group (let’s say Gonzalez for this example) worth more than your #15 rated prospect and whoever you get at 45? Because at 45 you can probably get an impact player as well. For me, the answer is definitely not. In fact, at 15 I’d probably look to trade down again into the 20’s and add another 2nd round pick.

Unless something unforeseen happens the Eagles coordinators will be less experienced than Gannon and Steichen were when Nick took over.  That might be a concern

Dennard Wilson and Jonathan Gannon are the same age.

Wilson actually played + each took over position rooms over similar periods (2015 vs. 2014). Gannon's first DC job was with us.

Banks may go late rd 1 , he is imo the most complete CB , with a high ceiling

Yeah, I really like Banks. Would be very happy taking him at #30 if we don’t get a CB at #10.

Could we go Witherspoon in the First and Banks in the Second?

I don’t think Banks will be available in the late 2nd, but I personally would be perfectly fine taking Witherspoon at 10 and Banks at 30.

We have an open starting spot this year and Slay on the other side is 32 years old. Witherspoon and Banks would give us a fantastic duo of prospects for those two spots.

I can’t imagine the DL doesn’t get addressed with 1 or those 2 picks. But like you, I’d be fine with that.

If you get witherspoon you almost have to look at edge at 30

although what if sewell is there?? Could we see a first round LB?

Good breakdown and thought process.  The Eagles are almost in no mans land.

From what I understand that Watkins thing was just Bo Wulf's opinion that gets whispered down the lane into a report that pretends to have intel behind it

Yep. These aggregators are really bad at passing along simple information.

Yes! Please yes, F yes!

If he buys the Commanders and serves his restaurants’ menus at the ballpark, I would consider taking in a game there.

Tommy Fury gets the win over Jake Paul

It was a decent showing from Jake, but Tommy is definitely the better boxer.

I didn't realize this happened this early...I thought this was a prediction.  Glad to see it.

Trade for what?  A 2502 draft pick?

I tend to think the eagles would deal him if they got some value especially considering it’s his last year of his contract. If hypothetically you got a 6th then you got 3 cheap years of him and then got value back of the pick you spent. That said i don’t see anyone giving up anything more than maybe a conditional pick depending on his 2023 season.

i do think one of these veteran WRs that’s cheap be on the eagles radar. I think someone like Robert woods, landry are not too far fetched if the price is low and can use them in the slot.

Howie shouldn’t do it for anything less than 2 1st round picks!

I actually don’t think edge is a need. We have Sweat and Reddick. We’ll probably have Graham back. Obviously if a good one is available I wouldn’t pass, but I see it more as a depth need than a priority premium talent need.

DT is a bigger need IMO, especially if we lose Hargrave.

Assuming they stick at 30 I have to stay with the cliche BPA. Forcing a position is just about the worst thing you can do there. Every year we focus too much on need but the team turns over so much every 2 years and few will remember the 2023 needs in 2 years they'll just judge whether the guy picked was good regardless of position

Exactly. The good news is that there should be some good prospects available at positions of need like DE, DT, CB, OL, and even #3 WR.

Depends what scheme we are running. I am less convinced at DT

I’ve been very impressed from what I’ve seen of both Witherspoon and Gonzalez.  Will be interesting to see who becomes the better pro
