The rule is a little crazy..  If you're going to hire a minority candidate you still have to interview other minority candidates?

The idea is that it builds relationships in a business where there is a lot of turnover at these positions.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I didn’t draft Charbonnet twice. That is due to the screenshot nature of how I captured the results.  I can’t seem to figure out where my iPad saves the results to when I click on Save.

I could have grabbed some 2024 picks in trades, but given that we already have two 2nd Round picks and will be getting (most likely) four 2024 Comp Picks, I decided to go for current year ammunition.  I should have traded theTavion Taylor pick for a 2024 6th rounder.

It was a joke. The real point is that I think three picks on the position is too much.

Jimmy Garoppolo stats:

40-17 career record .698 (4th alltime)

67.6 career completion % (3rd alltime)

5.0 career TD % (tied with Favre, Marino, Kelly)

8.2 AY/A (4th alltime)

99.2 passer rating (6th alltime)

Someone’s going to pick him up for a moderate deal, win a surprising amount of regular season games, then everyone will say, "Wow, I never saw that coming!”

I think it’s mainly for the exposure

I'm a little surprised Lurie never told Howie to go ahead and draft a player who was already drafted.  I remember that time Lurie defended Howie's drafting record by saying 'the guys we wanted got drafted by other teams', or something to that effect.

"I know Dalvin Cook got drafted already by Minnesota.  We're drafting him as well"

I honestly dont give a F about blitzing, just prevent offenses from doing things that a 12 year old Madden gamer could identify and stop.

For example: 3rd and 5 and CBs are 10 yards off their man?  Dont do that.

I think he'd be the DC that uses cover 2, 3, or 4. Can't remember if it was him or one of the other potential DCs we were looking at

Jordan Davis should take it if it’s available. What a look.

The lengths the Eagles will go to not give out Brent Celeks number is astounding.

It really is insane that he’s treated like an all-time great.

Can't wait for the days when a QB can wear #77.

Hopefully I'll be dead by then.

Would be fitting for his production

Yeah but aside from 2021, what has he actually done? Seriously, he's been basically a support staff almost his whole career otherwise. 5 years as QC, spent last year as an "assistant head coach of the defense." 2 years as a safeties coach. Yeah it's good to have him around, but can he be "the guy"?

Didn't play college ball. Gets a lot of love for being super educated (not a bad thing obviously, but you don't need a literal PhD to be a DC). Passive play calling.

(As I indicated before, I want him to be good. There are just a lot of potential red flags.)

Who is (are) your preferred candidate(s)?

I agree that three is too many and 20/20hindsight says I should have done something different with that 7th Round pick.  My bad.

the recent article by Roob on Trey Sermon could affect the mix of RBs somewhat.  Gainwell, Sermon, Charbonnet, Miller would be an attractive starting point going into Training Camp.

I don't think they will go into camp without adding a RB through the draft unless they re-sign Sanders.  I think there's a good chance Sanders could be back just because the FA market is saturated.  Sanders' most likely landing spot is Carolina and he would make sense for them.  He has connections to Staley.  He also could be used similarly to how the Colts used Taylor albeit he's never had that kind of workload.

I'm hoping we can see triple digit players.

Pete loves his assistants

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll on new Bucs offensive coordinator Dave Canales, an assistant with him in Seattle since 2010: "He understands the game, it comes easy to him, and he has a brilliant mind about offense, scheme, approach and principle.”

Just now, Sack that QB said:

Well that's an odd announcement lol

Now hes going to pull a Brady and stay in Seattle just to spite the reporters

We are not drafting a guy named "Bumper Pool” if that’s even a real guy. Get the hell out of here.

He plays for Arkansas but I think he probably runs worse than Edwards.
