Jimmy Garoppolo stats:

40-17 career record .698 (4th alltime)

67.6 career completion % (3rd alltime)

5.0 career TD % (tied with Favre, Marino, Kelly)

8.2 AY/A (4th alltime)

99.2 passer rating (6th alltime)

Someone’s going to pick him up for a moderate deal, win a surprising amount of regular season games, then everyone will say, "Wow, I never saw that coming!”

It’ll be interesting to see what happens when he’s not on a stacked 9ers team or playing for the greatest cheater of all time.

Guess this means we are bringing back Robert Quinn.

Surely someone in Brooklyn must know a guy that can take care of him.

I think the natural evolution with Hurts is to pass more this season.  Another reason why drafting a RB high is very unlikely.

That’s one of the reasons I think Gibbs is the only guy we’ll look at I. The top 2 rounds. His receiving ability isn’t quite CMC, but it’s close. If you can coach him up as in pass pro he’d be a real multidimensional weapon.

I remember how many debates I had with people about how Ben Simmons' flaws were going to kill the Sixers and prevent him from ever being anything special and people saying the usual "Smart basketball fans watch Simmons and know he's great" line. And also a lot of those same people, debating why losing Jimmy Butler would kill the Sixers and everyone pretending to be uber excited about Al Horford.

Funny how they quickly reversed on those takes and pretend like they never had them to begin with.

You talk to a lot of really stupid basketball fans then. yikes.

Watching Simmons on the bench against Atlanta. I said to my wife,  he will never play in the NBA again. Dude has major major anxiety and depression. I kinda feel bad for him.

Ok. Need you guys to grind the film and report back.

I'm pretty intrigued by Sean Desai, but I will say I couldn't care less about the praise for him. Every coach gets praised. I remember when it looked like the Eagles were going to hire Gus Bradley, the praise was crazy. "He's going to be an incredible head coach, he's really special."

Hopefully the Eagles got this one right. You know they wanted Fangio, but ended up hiring a disciple instead.

I don't think they will go into camp without adding a RB through the draft unless they re-sign Sanders.  I think there's a good chance Sanders could be back just because the FA market is saturated.  Sanders' most likely landing spot is Carolina and he would make sense for them.  He has connections to Staley.  He also could be used similarly to how the Colts used Taylor albeit he's never had that kind of workload.

I believe they will add two.

How about they stop retiring numbers. What is it, 12 numbers that can’t be worn.  Make a ring of honor.  Have legacy numbers that you hand out to special players and leave it at that.

Insert Jack Nicholson nodding like a creep gif.

So Bears beat Cinci 20-17 -  Burow went 19 of 30 with 2 TD's and 3 INT's.  Bears had 9 QB hits, 8 pass deflections, 6 TFL and 5 sacks including 2 by Quinn

Bears beat Raiders - 20-9  = Carr 22 for 35 with 1 INT.  Bears end with 3 sacks, 3 PD's and 4 QB hits

Bears beat Packers 24-14 -  Rodgers 17 of 23 for 195 and 2 TD's.  Bears end with 3 sacks, 4 TFL, 1 PD and 4 hits

One film grinded.

Different is good IMO

Like the idea of more stunts and stuff if we arent going to be blitzing. Felt we didnt run enough games like that either.

1.5 films grinded.

Yeah I'm on board. Imagine him and Flowers or Jaxon as new weapons to this offense. Would be pretty sick.

This is what a really good defense does in today's NFL.  Good QBs want the defense to blitz; it's paint by numbers for them.  Show them one look pre-snap, then it morphs into something else?  That's what gives QBs problems and makes them hold the ball.
