We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

This were the "Character concerns" that Todd McShay leaked a month ago

Lying to the police isn't good but dumb assery like racing your friends is not something that would be a huge character concern for me.  It's unfortunate.  He could have been killed but so could most of the guys I knew growing up for some of the dumbshit we did.

Dui racing was the task needed to get him at 30

Could be.  I guess we’ll see how it plays out.

I just have a feeling neither gets done by the time free agency opens which makes them less likely to be here. Makes no sense so close to FA not to test the market and see what you can get. Frankly in FA likely getting overpaid. So i hope I’m wrong but i see it going that way.

A defensive coordinator who is game-planning based on the opponent? Sounds good to me.

Was Carter driving the car that led to those deaths?

if so, he’s in serious serious trouble. He could face jail time.

Solid chance the #1 prospect in the draft falls to 10 and Howie who’s obsessed with DL is going to have a decision to make. It’ll depend on the severity of the legal situation going forward.

He's currently only charged with two misdemeanors.

I disagree with a lot of this, I don’t think at any point this season was Davis playing well. I think he was playing pretty poorly actually. That doesn’t mean he can’t develop, but I’ve seen absolutely nothing from him to justify that pick as of yet.

The Eagles have gotten into trouble in the past relying on young guys to develop who had shown no signs of anything when they had holes at positions and it had backfired on them. If this was a rebuild season, I’d agree, but in SB or bust season you can’t just go into it hoping that Davis takes his game several levels higher and go "oops” if he doesn’t. And then everyone would look back and say you just let a top level DT walk out the door.

After Dexter Lawrence was drafted his first couple seasons were underwhelming and there was talk that he wasn't worth the 1st round pick they spent on him, this year he was an all pro and improved immensely as a pass rusher, I stead of just a big space eater in the middle.

Davis has the size and the athletic ability to be successful he just has to put it together and hopefully the eagles coaches can help him develop and hopefully Desai can put him in position to succeed.

We'll see he flashed a few times as a rookie then after the Injury was pretty invisible.

Racing against a Ford expedition should be enough to drop him to 30...

They could never get him on the DUI charge cause he left the scene of the accident unless he revealed he was which i doubt. However, I am surprised they didn’t try to get him leaving the scene of an accident. Considering the fact they suspect he was involved in drag racing the car that crashed and saw the accident.

Carter giving me Jerome Brown vibes in more ways than one.  Hope he figures it out

Strictly from a player evaluation I feel similarly about Jalen Carter as I did about Travon Walker last year -- freak athletes, but not top 10 talents from a football player perspective.  Walker went #1 overall to JAX and time will tell if he will live up to his draft slot.

After this revelation, Carter would be off my draft board totally in Round 1.  First round picks are paraded in front of the media and have different optics than other picks.  Carter plainly doesn't have the moral character and makeup of a franchise pick.  He'll undoubtedly still get drafted in the top 15 depending on what else comes out of this, but no way would I turn in a card with his name on it in the first round if it was my organization.

So much is evident by what you choose to do when no one is watching.

Condolences to the families of the two that passed seems a Shame to lose young people to something as trivial as racing...

Flashbacks of Jerome Brown RIP.☹️

In all seriousness he will probably drop to around 10

Yup, who knows how NFL execs will view this, it's not like he got popped with a positive marijuana test at which case teams would drop him off their boards all together 😒🤷‍♂️

Seriously though if he's there at 10 Howie could easily pull the trigger.

Sirianni will be interviewed from the Combine on NFL Radio shortly; they just did an interview with Gannon a few minutes ago.

Kirk Morrison says Jalen Carter has left the Combine

On one hand this sounds like a player we would normally drop off the big board, but on the other, going to the team with college friends Davis and Dean could be exactly what he needs to put this behind him

QB - Hurts
RB - Sermon, Gainwell, Chase Brown
WR - Brown, Smith, Rashee Rice, Pascal
TE - Goedert, Calcaterra, Stoll
OL - Mailata, Dickerson, Kelce, Jurgens, Lane -  Draft Voorhees and Mason Brooks in the draft

DT - Davis, Milton Williams, Mazi Smith, Suh
DL - Sweat, Graham, Barnett (assuming he's still under contract), Janarius Robinson, Foskey

LB - Tremaine Edmunds, Dean, Reddick - Maybe someone like Ventrell Miller later in draft along with Elliss
CB - Gonzalez, Slay, Maddox
S -  Chauncey and Josh Johnson

Dang would’ve been quite the scene. As soon as they story broke you knew he wouldn’t. So I’m not shocked. I actually wouldnt shocked after medical testing if he doesn’t just leave and do his other testing at his pro day.

I think he's off Howie's board now

Hell Fin yeah. Draft him at 10, come what may.

Idk about off the board but I’m guessing Dom is in for a long draft process figuring it all out

Wondering if they waited for the combine to make this a bigger story.
