We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Idk about off the board but I’m guessing Dom is in for a long draft process figuring it all out

He's probably going to get sued along with whatever criminal charges

That was such a dirty hit

Breer says teams already had concerns about Carter’s maturity and makeup before this.

Yup.

(I would still draft Carter at 10, because of the risk-reward ratio).

No more SEC guys

Carter being available at 10 is officially on the table, let’s hope we don’t pull another Warren Sapp.

Qb skills competition this year gonna be off the chain at practice

Great.  I can see the play now where Brown goes deep in the bed of a pickup and Hurts hits him for a TD.  Then the pickup driver gets flagged for illegal man downfield.

Question can he be charged with leaving the scene of an accident since technically he/his car wasn't in an accident?

That was the 2nd big hit.  The other was when his knee was torn up against the Rams and his scrambling ability was shot.

It could hurt the Eagles as well, that's one less player to push other talent down.

Well it all worked out in the end...not for Wentz but for the Eagles.😉

I remember during that 2017 season being so excited that the eagles finally got a QB who could read a defense and had a cannon for an arm, but it was short lived and all for naught and I'm glad it worked out with hurts.

And Clowney is a turd.😡

Wondering if they waited for the combine to make this a bigger story.

If McShay had wind of it then it's quite likely team investigators did as well.  All teams conglomerated at the Combine means lots of investigators looking at the same thing in order to make decisions.  Just as the medical concerns come to light from the medical exams, any incidents involving these prospects get fettered out as well.

Might not be a pac 12 for much longer so that argument can die out

Others around the country have previously been charged with manslaughter or even vehicular homocide for being involved in the street race that killed a person, as their actions were enticing the victims to continue an event that risked their life

So it looks like from these that Carter could be looking at probation.

Though he wont be sentenced until after the draft if and when charged.

Traditionally teams don't draft players that have pending legal matters.

To my knowledge I can't think of a guy that was drafted while awaiting sentencing nor a player that was drafted while serving probation though I could be wrong in the last.🤷‍♂️

Either way not looking to good for Carter's future if he is in fact charged with involuntary vehicular manslaughter or something of the like.

Well, DAL currently has the #27 overall pick

I think having a lighter guy like Donald whose had so much success is going to really help Him going forward, more teams will be inclined to overlook or minimize his lack of size and hope they're getting the next Donald.

Though there have been a few guys since donald with comparable size that obviously haven't been as good but hey Donald is a generational talent, and people tend to forget that though he's on the smallish size he's also got really long arms at his height.

Lol yup.

I mean I've  heard of players getting busted for things while on the team or players getting busted while in NFL then serving their time and coming back but I can't remember the last time a player with a pending serious legal issue was drafted or one that was currently on probation was drafted.

Though I'm sure if any team had the resources to handle a player who was on probation it would be Dallas or the raiders.

10?  He might be available at 30 depending on the severity of the allegations, etc

Idgaf. I don’t care how scared you were. That’s your teammate who’s like a brother and people like your family that you see every day. Even if were drunk (shouldn’t have been driving a thing called a Fing Uber or Lyft or a college staffer they specifically have to come pick you up… ya even Arizona has those so I’m guessing Georgia does as well) I’m going to go try to help and make sure everything is ok. Called consequences of your actions. If you want to make a dumb ass decision then deal with the Fing consequences of your dumb ass decision. Don’t run away cause you are drunk and scared of the repercussions that will happen.

There's no question it was the wrong thing to do.  It's not as bad as punching a woman, domestic violence or sexual assault. It's not near the level of moral depravity of what Watson did.  It was an impulsive decision to race someone and then to lie to the police.  It's not a reason I think he shouldn't be drafted by the Eagles if he accepts the consequences now.

Not sure it matters, but I think Jason Peters was also arrested for street racing, so it’s not like the Eagles draw a line in the sand over this type of behavior.

I think the worst part of it is the part that you're not mentioning

Leaving the scene where your teammate and staff member died is gross.

I don't care about the charges, that they're just misdemeanor. I don't care that he drag raced. The disgusting thing that determines I just don't want that guy on my team is abandoning his teammate.

He lacks any respect for human life. A true bottom of the barrel scum.
