We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I think the worst part of it is the part that you're not mentioning

Leaving the scene where your teammate and staff member died is gross.

I don't care about the charges, that they're just misdemeanor. I don't care that he drag raced. The disgusting thing that determines I just don't want that guy on my team is abandoning his teammate.

He lacks any respect for human life. A true bottom of the barrel scum.

This! That’s totally lack of respect for human life. And he did it to a teammate and staffers he probably viewed as his brother and sisters. Instead of staying and trying to help and make sure they were alright like a normal decent human being he fled likely not cause he was scared of what happened to them but the consequence he was likely to face and everything he could lose in his life. That to me makes him a POS. It takes a person with no conscience to just flee away from a scene where you were part of the reason it happened and people were seriously hurt and dying.

Not sure it matters, but I think Jason Peters was also arrested for street racing, so it’s not like the Eagles draw a line in the sand over this type of behavior.

True but no one died

Yeah, it’s drag racing while potentially drunk and leaving your friends to die…

There's no question it was the wrong thing to do.  It's not as bad as punching a woman, domestic violence or sexual assault. It's not near the level of moral depravity of what Watson did.  It was an impulsive decision to race someone and then to lie to the police.  It's not a reason I think he shouldn't be drafted by the Eagles if he accepts the consequences now.

People died.  I can't imagine how he can sleep at night.

Bold prediction. Jalen Carter falls into Cowboys’ laps and charges get dropped.

Jerry jones and him could split lawyers fees

Carter was stupid for drag racing, if that was what was going on and cowardly for leaving the scene. It's not the same as a premeditated or violent crime. Bad judgment and cowardice. Its the kind of thing people can grow from as opposed to a psychopathology (Character issue as the NFL calls it) like Mixon, Kamara, etc. He will have a consequence and if he is there at 10, I'd take him.

These guys are gifted with elite size and athleticism, and they engage in risky and senseless behaviors that could jeopardize their lives and the opportunity to acquire generational wealth. Always blows my mind.

I'm actually not surprised by the nutrition grade after those years of constant injuries and the team finally fixing that

I laughed at travel

What is an F- ?

The Eagles show 5 DTs under contract, although since Wilson isn’t shown with a future contract, it may be four.  Starters would likely be Davis and Williams, backups Marlon T and Noah Elliss.  Four DEs under contract.  Starters Sweat and Barnett, back ups Robinson and Jackson (I don’t count Leo).  Three SAMs, Reddick and the Johnsons.  Two/Three MIKEs with Bradley, Elliss and whatever Dean is.  Two WILs, Taylor and Dean. At S, Ghost, Wallace, Chachere, McCollum (an intriguing signing) and whatever Scott is. CB, Slay, McPhearson, Maddox, Jobe, Scott again, and Goodrich.  Well isn’t totally dry at any position but could see BPA at pretty much any position.  Young Eagles free agents, CJGJ, Epps, White, Edwards.  Could see potential for extensions and in the case of CGGJ, a tag is a possibility.   Will let the others test the market.  Lot of dead money in older players.

OL under contract split by position, T - Lane, Jordan, Driscoll, F Johnson, R Johnson (Howie trying to corner the market on Johnsons - pun intended), J Williams, maybe Sills, Toth and whatever Good-Jones is. Note the Johnsons have NFL experience.  G - Dickerson, Driscoll again, Jurgens, maybe Sills again, Toth again, Opeta, Good-Jones, Slug Robinson. C Jurgens, Toms. RB Gaines, Sermon, Brooks. TE Goedert, Stoll, Calcaterra, Keene. WR Brown, Smith, Watkins, Cleveland, Covey, Allen. QB Hurts, Book.  Young Eagles free agents, B Scott, Boobie, Dillard, Pascal, Minshew. Could see any one of them extended for the right price.  Boobie seems least likely but the RB draft and free agent competition is steep.  Scott and Pascal seen most likely.  Imagine all five are given offers and the opportunity to test the market. Some may be back.

Hate to see Kelce, Cox and BG in other uniforms but possible.  Seumalo only at the right price.

Figure the second interview with Desai covered position coaches and thoughts on free agent Eagles.

Eagles philosophy is fill holes in free agency, draft for the future.  Great examples of that are McPhearson, Davis, Williams and Dean.  Taylor, Jackson and Wallace haven’t paid off but might yet offer something.  Eagles also place a high value on UDFAs.  Draft remains BPA with focus on OTs, Edges, DTs, CBs, Gs, S and day two LBs.  Wouldn’t discount any position except K at this point.

Those are really good grades when you look at the some of the other teams like Arizona, Cincinnati, Washington etc.

Travel I'd guess is more about logistic issues than anything else.

Travel is all logistics.  Appoint a serious and experienced person to review it, jettison all the crap relationships (we always go to the ...) and then use their connections and ride herd on it.

Not sure you know the definition of bold prediction.

Well, for the Jaguars it's probably still a holdover of bad memories from Urban Meyer feeling up their kids.
