Just create an expansion team with Bieniemy as HC and Kaepernick as QB so everyone can just shut up.

The Wilmington Woke. Delaware gets it's first pro sports team.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

"Is that why the game was won or lost? No. But is it shameful for the NFL that we continue to have games marred by insufficient, not up-to-standard playing conditions – by that I mean the field – and the officials,” La Canfora said (9:04 in player above). "How can this be? They thump their chest about ‘We’re going to be $20 billion in revenue. We’re shooting for $25 billion in revenue. And we’re going to play games on the moon one day!’

"It’s England, it’s Germany, it’s Mexico, it’s going to be Brazil. We’re playing on the moon. And we keep seeing guys slipping and sliding and getting hurt non-contact in playoff games. This isn’t a preseason game. And I saw a tweet the league sent out that morning about how much time and money they put into that playing surface… ‘We roll it in. We roll it out. We’re watching it like it’s a newborn baby.’ Did anybody test it out? The hell are we doing here? It’s shameful. Shameful!”

I'm sticking to my guns that I think the Eagles are going to do a full uniform rebrand this year.  At the very least we get Kelly Green throwbacks next year.  When do you think we get our first peak?

The guy I've always compared hurts to is Steve young

Young wasn't a great passer in college or early in his career, he had a bigger arm than hurts but he was more an athlete than he was a QB.

When retiring he had the highest career QB rating, and was considered one of the most accurate qbs of his generation.

Not sure hurts will ever reach those heights but he's shown the ability to improve and get better and I think going forward he'll just continue to do so.

Totally agree. Hurts is Young.

I was so wrong about Hurts, and so happy to be so very wrong. Love this quote.

Hurts is likeable and I enjoy rooting for him.

As of right now with the cap the Eagles sit at 8M under the cap.

Slay will be restructured. This saves 13M

Lane will be restructured. This saves 11M

Elliot will be restructured. This saves 2.4M

Hurts will be extended. This saves 2.6M

Kelce will be extended if he doesn’t retire. This saves 2.6M

Hargrave will be extended before the 21st. This will cost us 1M

This will give the Eagles 38.6M in cap space. The draft picks will cost roughly 10M.

28.6M is enough to bring back key free agents and sign a few extras. Should be an interesting offseason.

That’s enough for maybe 3. CJGJ, Graham, who else?

You aren't going to be saving money with Hurts.

Jalen is objectively an accurate QB. Look at his expected completion percentage.

The 2 most fair criticisms of Jalen
- Lack of arm strength
- Doesn't use the middle of the field enough

The last one is broader. Goes to vision and speed of processing. He throws to spots its why he likes the deep sideline.

Yeah, I think Howie knows how to massage that cap number.  Like the trading back with our second 1st rounder for picks so we can add some depth behind the aging vets.  Or trading for a vet that isnt likely to be resigned by another team ie Brown.  I don't think Howie is going into the next season with anything less than he feels is a championship team.

The Eagles took the high road after the Chiefs game. Rightfully calls them a great team.

JuJu then posting that...whew. He just doesn't get it.

First point stands, but I think we absolutely still make the SB with Josh Allen.

That's not trying to discredit what Jalen did. But who would have beat this team with Allen in the NFC for the #1 Seed or throughout the playoffs?

It’s not necessarily our playoff path I’m talking about.

If you sprinkle in the picks throughout the season, we potentially lose to Indianapolis, GB, Jacksonville, maybe Houston if the second half of that game goes differently, probably Detroit. Falter even a little with ball security and Dallas wins the NFCE. Suddenly we’re in San Francisco with a healthy Brock Purdy. Watching Josh Allen be completely ineffective against Cincinnati (at home) in the divisional round is what would make me concerned about that matchup.

Probably around June.

They will backload contracts. We could bring back CJGJ, Graham, Edwards or White, Seumalo and Bradberry. Lovato will be cheap. I honestly cut Watkins and save 2.3M and bring in a better 3rd WR. No reason to overspend on outside free agents, just depth.

Gotta think the Eagles knew they were probably losing both coordinators. They probably already had interviews lined up. Hopefully that news breaks soon.

I wouldn’t mind upgrading at LB over those guys. Also, would rather give a long contract to another CB. Only interested in Bradberry in a 1-2 year deal. He will fall off soon. As will Slay (who already has IMO).

According to OTC an extension saves 2.6M for 2023.

With the lettering change and the fact that Kelly Green has been sprinkled throughout things the last year or two, I think as well that they're doing a uniform change.

There's literally ZERO way this did not effect them last week in preparing for the SB AND the biggest interviews of their careers.

I mean the guy was still 13-3 this year while playing Baltimore, KC, Miami 2x etc. And one of the losses was a fluky end in Minnesota. I think it's a stretch to say we would lose to GB, Indy, Houston when he had that record with all the picks as is. Plus the Eagles roster stacks up well, if not better than Buffalos.

If he has a $0 signing bonus, which he won't.

Not that we lose all those games mind you, only takes 1-2 to give Dallas the division. Remember Hurts was playing decent vs Indy, the rest of the team was screwing up everywhere, not unlike WAS. Only takes 1 errant pass to change that outcome.
