Is their a particular measurement (non wang) that you guys are waiting for before saying that's the guy I want us to draft at 10?  If so for who and what measurement are you hoping for?

With respect to Jalen Carter, he'd be on my do not draft list.  You'd like to think he learned something here, but did / will he?  He's still going to be a 1st round draft pick.  He might fall back 10 spots or so, but he'll still be a high pick, no later than 15-20.  He will still get a lucrative contract and will still get paid millions.

Been reading The Athletic on the push play.  The complaint that it isn’t football is plain dumb.  Maybe forgotten football in a pass crazy NFL, but scrum type plays are the birth of football.  Anybody that played on an old style offense or an option offense like the Wing T, Wishbone, Veer, Option I etc. knows full well that plays where the halfback, fullback, tailback pushed the QB forwards on short yardage isn’t much different.

Have moved on, but that Super Bowl gets an asterisk. Field conditions.The stories are out there.

Eagles offense is outstanding and will only get better. If the defense can be competent, they'll get a couple chances at another Super Bowl championship.

I'm about 25 years removed from doing stupid stuff, so yeah hard to fathom - that said, people grow up and the NFL is no stranger to evaluating intangibles.  Did Jerome Brown have red flags and was he a bad pick?  Ruggs seemed to be a great kid and his best friend was killed in an auto accident - kind of unpredictable from the outside.
