Yeah every time I drunkenly drag-raced with my pals (at least the ones who survived) I always fled the scene and lied to the investigators.   I also jaywalked all the time, no biggie!!

Can one of you draft gurus explain why that one trade is rated as a D? Didn't we trade more when we moved up to 2 to get Wentz? I'm just confused on that one

Do we know if Kelce is coming back yet?

I believe it leans 53/47 Yes.  You can take that to the bank and cash it for its appraised value:

This isn't 1950 when kids weren't entitled and were actually grown men before graduating college. He's young and dumb and kids do that in college. And yes...anyone in college is a kid to me because most are f'ing stupid and haven't matured yet.

Get over your holier-than-thou attitude acting like a guy from BYU living in the bubble of Provo. Should people lie to the cops? No. Does it happen in the real world? Yes. People who get pulled over do it every single day. I don't give a flying F if it means he drops to 10 and they can sign him.

He is a criminal, so....

One thing I can guarantee you: you show up to the scene of a crime where cops just scraped some brain matter off of the pavement and start giving them fishy stories that dont add up.  Theyre going to make it a point to pile on every little charge they can think of to make an example of you.

Youre right in that he could have said nothing.  But then theyre going to check those security tapes and its all over.  Theyre coming after him at that point.

I just believe in responsibility and not lying to guys who can jam you up. This is what's about to happen to him:

It's easy to say what you would have done in the same situation but until you are in that exact situation lived the same life been through the same things you have no idea how you would react.

It's not all over if he says nothing, if he immediately lawyers up then all of the evidence they have against him will be presented to his lawyer not him an hour after a traumatic event.

Like I said Carter did some stupid stuff and it's a bad look, lots of people do stupid things make poor mistakes and they still have rights to  representation and to keep their mouth shut.

When the officer reads you your rights and says you have the right to remain silent, take that right and embrace it, when that officer says you have the right to representation, take it.

These are your rights, men died so you could have those rights, people get all uppity about their 2nd amendment rights I wish people were more passionate about their right to remain silent.

I'll leave you to your fantasy then

Yeah unless Im wrongfully detained I just believe in telling the truth and coming clean.  The police will treat you a lot better and they wont pile on charges if you dont F around with them.

The fact that he shows back up, lies about being there, they realize hes a liar, they see the security footage of him driving like a maniac....yeah hes getting as many charges as they can prove.  I dont think hes done yet.

This isn't necessarily true

Listened to Howie’s interview with Spads, and maybe not that interest LT he mentioned comp picks next year. He’s banking on four (as expected) but noted getting a 3 or a bunch of 4s. Basically, the high end guys are gone. Maybe we keep 1.

So has the Kelce's and Roseman Podcast thing come out yet?  I think that was supposed to be today.  Did they give any updates on if he's coming back?

Nobody is saying he's Fing 12, stop being obtuse.

Didn't say anyone was. Wtf? Move on

Maybe Sirianni will see the drag racing thing as a positive. Shows that Carter is such an elite competitor that he can’t even let someone pass him on the highway without getting his competitive juices flowing.

Didn't come out yet. Sirianni is apparently on the episode as well. It will be interesting if they dance around it or just talk about it head on.

No I can guarantee you I wouldn't have done any of the stupid ish he did, easily, because it's common decency that I learned during childhood.

And yes, if he goes silent when he shows back up to the scene, its only minimally better than making up a bunch of stories.

You know who else also died, his friends who he left for dead because he was scared of being held responsible for his criminal behavior.

If he immediately lawyers up, they'll tack on literally any charge they can think of to try and get him to come clean.  Theres no reason for him to play games like that when hes currently only looking at misdemeanors.

It would have been so much easier for him to just stay at the scene and help out and tell the truth.

That’s not good.

The vast majority of the time its true, and almost certainly is in his case

My grandpa was a state trooper, sheriff, and US Marshall. My dad was a career state trooper, and my brother is a state trooper now.  I've spent my entire life around law enforcement.   Theres no way Im playing games with investigating officers at the scene of a crime if Im not directly responsible.

Its suspicious what he did, and theyll keep digging.
