If he has a $0 signing bonus, which he won't.

To my understanding a new signing bonus wouldn’t effect the cap until 2024.

Cardinals are currently 10th in cap space before massaging anything. I'm curious how many free agent Eagles Gannon is going to want to bring with him.

He can have Epps, TJ, and I’ll trade JD for their 1st.

No, it does. Notice the prorated bonus section for both Goedert and Mailata who signed extensions in 2021

Howie could go the same route he did with both of these with the option bonuses he wrote in which would lower the cap hit for 2023 and spread it into the future vs giving it to him all as a signing bonus, but whatever the signing bonus is will count prorated to the 2023 cap.

He will likely lower Hurts 2023 base salary to the min which will help lower his cap hit as well, but it still would be an increase overall to what he currently accounts for.

He was making terrible turnovers early in the year too before the injury.  He's just too reckless with the ball and the chances he's willing to take.

Also what are these great weapons that Lamar has had? He's had a great TE and that's it, beyond that he has the least amount of skill player around him to work with compared to his young top QB peers.

Holy strawman argument. Who the F talked about his decline being about weapons. Reading must be really hard. It is right there says due to injuries. It’s not hard to read what’s there and not go off on your own tangent

Lamar’s bigger issue is he’s missed 10 games over two years. Not putting him top 7 missing 30% of his games. Not to do with his talent or who’s around him. His decline is more likely in my mind cause he keeps getting hurt and eventually his body is going to start breaking down. No one is taking lamar over mahomes, herbert, Allen, burrow and hurts especially when he wants the world in a contract and has missed a bunch of time over the last two years.

The last one is broader. Goes to vision and speed of processing. He throws to spots its why he likes the deep sideline.

We should trade him for Mahomes.

Hopefully TJ Edwards.  It will be like when Buddy Ryan took Seth Joyner but not at all the same because Edwards is a scrub.

I like AJ more because of it.

If none go there does that mean they didn't like him?

Naw mahomes is unproven

Maybe, or Gannon didn't like them.

I think it's safe to say Cox won't be interested in going to Arizona.

One might say that the injuries are a sign that his body is already starting to break down.

Yup. It’s why i said his decline might happen due to injuries. Never mentioned his weapons. Frankly the ravens have done a horrible job outside of andrews and when dobbins is healthy of putting good weapons around and especially at WR. They’ve tried and failed at Wr to do so

You might say it's flowering.
